But either way, you need another back going into next year. It remains to be seen whether Goodwin, Kiner, or Bradford are good enough to carry the load.

The guys we sign have to be about need and depth. Right now, we are critically thin at TE, CB, OL, LB and DE. Those positions have to be the focus. If Emery looks like he will get himself eligible, then we have plenty of RBs. Unless a true difference maker hits the portal and shows interest, we may have to just make the best of it.

Now if we can sign Citizen, that’s a different story. He’s an impact guy with more years to play if you can keep him. He could help solidify depth going forward.

TDP just declared for the draft.

Good for him. He is who he is. Coming back isn’t gonna change anything except adding extra wear and tear. If he has an NFL career, he’s gonna have to earn it in an NFL camp whether it’s next year or the year after.

Really need a grad transfer RB in my opinion.

Maybe you just meant a portal guy who’s immediately eligible, but we don’t need a 4th/5th year guy who’s not good enough to have already left for the league. I think Citizen should come. None of Kiner, Goodwin, or Bradford appear to be special. Neither does Emery if he comes back. The odds of the light coming on for a RB this late in their career is rare. The great ones have usually forced their way on the field by now. Clyde was the man in ‘19, but there was plenty of opportunity for Emery to earn carries in ‘20, but he couldn’t take advantage. I’m pulling for him, but not counting on him.

I have no idea what our offense is going to look like next year. But if BK can fill a couple holes in the OL, with our WR group, all our RBs should have plenty of space to run in.

Lol you think you can tell that Kiner and Goodwin or even Bradford aren’t or can’t be special based on the sample size we have?

Disagree big time on Kiner or Goodwin not being special. Goodwin has barely played dealing with the same nagging injury and Kiner has looked pretty good in the small sample size we have seen. They’re both true freshman’s. Need another year in S&C program to see them develop.

As thin as LSU's roster is right now, playing time on national television is available to every recruit willing to put in the work.

Have you ever watched him play?
He’s a very good HS RB but definitely not even close to elite

Be great to sign Citizen.

As others have posted, We definitely need to get a much better look at all three—Bradford, Kiner and Goodwin. It’s too soon to tell if they will be strong contributors or not.

Goodwin is special.

Just wait till he gets his chance. He is better than kiner.

Emery
Goodwin
Kiner
Williams
Bradford

Then hopefully citizen. Citizen could come in and take carries away from kiner.

I’m intrigued to see how Bradford develops. He actually looked good in limited snaps vs Ole Miss last year and A&M this year. He has some burst to the hole and quickness. Needs to work on catching the ball and pass blocking, but I think he’s definitely better than Williams now that he’s eligible.

Let Emery go along with Price if he wants to ho. Let’s start with a clean slate.

Yes, lets get rid of all our upper classmen and start all over again with a clean slate. Good idea.

These people have very short memories. I remember people saying Clark wasn't worth a shite at one point. Then everyone cries about loyalty when they leave....
