Not really that big of a deal to me. Byron Young and Ishmael Sospher are the ones that will say a lot. I’d be happy with either. Gotta get one.

I just meant the day overall. If we lose out on Ish then we closed with a dud.

I just pray we land the Amite guys. That would be a win on the day. I wouldn’t be against taking Garman Randolph I think he’s an extremely underrated TE. Saving spots for next year’s class sounds like a good idea.

A couple of spots for an unexpected juco would be nice too. Never can tell when you might see one you need.

Lurked for a long time and often get stuck in the groupthink and ultimately group polarization (the highs and lows), but I think we need to take a step back.

Calling Miami an inferior program is not a legitimate statement considering they have more national titles than us, more NFL Hall of Famers with more to come (8, tied with Bama btw), and UM is a private school ranked top 50. They’ve had a bad decade or so but they’ve been hammered by the NCAA.

Miami was once an elite program and has an opportunity to be one again, no shame in losing Williams. He’s a good player who went to a good program. Our recruiting class is still Top 10 and I don’t think after last year anyone thought that would be possible.

Just putting things into perspective

Maybe, but if the guy is connected to the program, he probably shouldn't be calling recruits "pussies." It's not a good look and is a poor representation of the program.

Tyler Taylor, Chaisson, Jacob Phillips, JaMarr Chase were all very close to signing day or night before surprises, weren't they?

Miami has a lot of issues at the moment though that we don't. Mainly, the administration is behind LSU more so than Miami. That is changing after Shalala left, but we still have far more resources than Miami.

In addition, the fan support is abysmal at times. The biggest reasons that I saw were a mediocre product on the field and a stadium 45 minutes from campus. LSU is clearly the stronger program at this current time, but I'll never fault a kid that wants to start and live in Miami for a few years.

Clearly an easier path to playing time there. He didn't think he was good enough to crack the lineup at DBU.

Can't we ever lose out on a recruit with dignity? Why do we always have to take a shot at the guy?

If he had just a little bigger frame, he might make a monstrous OT.

As it is - he's really tall and athletic. But, we just don't use the TE for production. Jacory Washington caught ONE GD PASS in 4 years, FFS.

Foster Moreau who was in on almost every offensive snap that wasn't 4-wide only caught 52 passes in 4 years.

It's fair to say that we're all a bit emotionally charged this close to signing day.

I've lurked here since '06 and finally got around to registering.

Damn, I thought that Williams was in the bag for us and we would finally leave Saban sniffing our jocks while we danced in the street.

Maybe we can still do that for someone tomorrow!

Do you have reading comprehension skills? I am far from "hyperventilating." I could care less about losing Williams. My post was about Jimmy "Details" credibility and his reporting.

They're all welcome as long as their second posts don't begin with " I'm hearing " or " my sources are telling me "
