I've lurked about 10 years, enjoy reading the recruiting board every day buy who needs another opinion when there are way too many already...I've spared you all.
But finally set up an account to say, Damn, wasn't expecting that kind of pepper from Vol...he means it and I like it.

If he really runs a 4.6–4.7, there is no shot he would every be a starting corner here. No way. Not with the amount of press man coverage we play.

Most staffs will find out the day before/ night before about where a guy is going. He doesn’t have chest if he’s aftaid of competition here.

We say things like this when kids dont want to come to LSU but do a complete 180 when kids want to go to Bama.
We say things like:
"just another follower"
"why go to bama and sit when you can play at LSU"
"make your own path, don't just be a groupie"
I get it, we wanted the kid but taking shots at him when we say the opposite about other kids is dumb.
This isn't directed at you specifically Vol, a lot of posters do this. I just think it's hypocritical.
Edit: We are still playing the Bama has so many DL commits that Ish and Young should sign with us. According to yall, theyd be pussies to sign with us cuz that means they are afraid of competition at Bama.

You know, that's a fair point. And we were moving him to safety with Hampton (who's considerably better IMO), and Miami is letting him play corner. So, you're right, I probably shouldn't be so hard on the kid. Just genuinely surprised given his conversations with the staff as recently as this weekend.

LSU wants him at safety, he wants to be a corner. Sports guys said other schools would negative recruit next year with all the CBs LSU took. And this is why LSU won't pursue Ward, since he is a CB.
