Not saying he is wrong but he has been wrong before.
lol, jimmy went from 5 for 5 to "Fournette and Saban to Texas" in an hour that day.

Miami simply provided the better opportunity than LSU (or Bama). While it MIGHT be a bad sign, it's not a sign of failure on the coaches part.
Look at it this way, if the coaches had failed on Stingley or other CBs, they would have succeeded here.
I'll take it.
And while Ward is not, to be polite, a direct replacement for Williams let's not forget we for 2020 we already have Toles on the hook, I predict we will push hard for Tisdale, and we'll be watching real close how Clark develops both physically and at the position.

Don’t think this is a fair assessment at all. We already have Stingley locked in, last year, surtain flipped on signing day after telling the staff he was coming. He was the number 1 corner in the nation.
This year, o has the number 1 corner already practicing in the purple and gold. Also Williams is a safety. If we get Ward great, if not, then I think we’re fine

I agree with this. Who knows if this Williams thing is 100% yet. O could be pushing. If we land Lee, and Ish tomorrow, that’s a win. We may be taking Garman Randolph now, which I’m not opposed to.

Could not care less about whether Williams comes to LSU or not. We are fine at DB. We need the DL guys.

Some of you are acting like we are losing Sting the staff did their job earlier Williams is just a bonus if he comes, welcome if not good luck.

Why yes he was. He may be correct in this case but I don't put much faith in his reporting. He has a rather inflated opinion of himself. I think he may have also been pushing the Raymond to Georgia story wasn't dead even after it was reported Corey was staying.
I hope he has better rapport with the recruits than he demonstrates in his twitter feed.

It's not just Jimmy. Nearly every insider is picking Miami, including Shea and Embody.
It might not be completely done, but it appears Williams has already informed both staffs that he intends to sign with Miami tomorrow.

I think losing Williams would almost guarantee losing Ish since it opens up another spot for them.
