Project any news on the other portal targets?
I notice Jay commented about time lost on the road due to being Omaha (although I’m sure we’d all take that trade every day ) and I got the sense he can’t wait to get after it and get guys back on campus like our competitors have been able to do

Nothing other than that I still expect Snead to go public with his Tennessee commitment any day now.
They also got Ryan Galanie from Wofford, but he wasn't really a target for us.
They're heavy after Peebles from NC State too, but I don't think we're really in competition there either.

There will be some, because there always are. I don't have any inside info though. I'm too geographically removed to get any.

I think Holman will be announcing for them soon as well

Yeah. I knew they'd get him as soon as he jumped in the portal.
My Tennessee source was hanging out with his agent in Omaha.
ETA: And they've been recruiting like Burns is gone for a while now. He pretty much ghosted them as soon as the season was over.

Hurd will be our Friday guy. If that's an issue for Burns, he can move on. I'd love to have him, but Hurd just won the championship game and showed massive improvement as the season went on. He will be a stud next year.
I imagine we will get a few solid transfers. Jay has been a master recruiter.
ETA: I'm also curious on Grant Taylor. I hope he comes back.
