The guy can fly for a LB (or any other position for that matter). Can you imagine the sideline coverage we’ll have with him and Atkins on the field at the same time?

With his kind of speed, he could be turned loose as something of a roaming defender huh? Not sure of his coverage instincts but if solid, he could be used like Perkins when he drifts downfield coverage.

I have no idea about his football acumen, but at this size and speed we have to start bringing up some crazy comps like Grant Delpit.

NotAStarGazer will be here shortly to tell everyone that he doesn't have burst and 40 times don't actually matter.

"But his offer list sucks, he has no burst, he'll never be more than a special teams player"

I wish they’d unanchor this post so we can bump it all year

It’s not even two weeks post commitment & two of NolaStarGazers talking points already debunked

-100m time was great but doesn’t have a blazing 40

-Dave Campbell TX guru isnt high on him

Curious with his measuareables and track times why is he considered a OLB? 6’1 190 screams safety at that next level to me

There might not be a prospect in the state of Texas who has put together a better start to the offseason than Houston North Shore's Ross. .The recent LSU commit has put together numerous impressive 100-meter-dash times on the track, highlighted by a blazing 10.48-second personal best in early March. It directly translated at Sunday's camp, as he looked by far the most comfortable of any linebacker in coverage during the 1-on-1 session working against running backs.

Ross also displayed impressive reactive quickness in individual drills and looked all of his 6-foot-1, 190 billing if not bigger. The high-three-star recruit is a clear stock-up candidate following Sunday's camp.
