Is he 100% healthy from his injuries?

He was healthy last year. Refused to come back because he wanted to redshirt.

While he doesn't help out in the post, it is important from a numbers standpoint. LSU will run, and having 10 scholarship players is crucial for practice.

Agreed. Good to hear we get another guy. Still have a week to figure out if we can get a post player...

I think we're done, but there's always a chance.

He's a sharpshooting 3 point guy. And I mean a REALLY good 3 point shooter. Hit 39.1% his last full season at Memphis.

Really sounds as if we're going small ball this year. Hopefully Johnny can get them in great condition.

Got a prediction for a potential starting lineup Bubba? My prediction: PG-Hickey, SG-Carmouche, SF-Morgan, PF-Coleman, C-O'Bryant

I have a hard time believing Courtney won't start.

Hickey, Carmouche, Coleman, Courtney, O'Bryant

I think Hickey, JOB and Coleman are the only guaranteed starters.

FWIW, Tuba's got a schollie now.

I hope there's a good player or two on campus who can help. A 6-7 Populist.

Coleman shot a good percentage too. With Stringer and Hickey, if Morgan and and Hammink can shoot it, opponents will have a hard time guarding the perimeter.

But man, interior defense...

Use Big Sam as an enforcer. 6-5, 260. Mean streak. I'm sure NFL GMs would love to see that

Evan Washington was actually pretty good coming out of high school and is about 6'6 310. Would be worth the shot.

I have never seen anything out of Courtney that would suggest he could be an SEC starter.

I think it's probably just better to put our 5 best guys out there and try to design a system to make it work. Missouri did it last year, and if Johnny Jones is going to be a good coach, he should be able to figure something out to get us to 12-15 wins.

I would initially start out with Hickey, Stringer, Carmouche, Coleman, and O'Bryant. If either Hamminck or Morgan are better than I expect, they should get Stringer's spot.

We don't need to start Courtney just because he's 6'8. Nor Ludwig in that case. We can play 4-guard type of offense just like Mizzou has done. I could see...

JOB III, Coleman, Hammink or Morgan, Carmouche and Hickey

We would get more out of Hammink/Morgan starting over Courtney. Courtney is basically a lesser version of Ludiwg...he can't be getting starter minutes.
