His pops said he's deciding between LSU and Bama...I'de assume that means he's got an offer from LSU.

I'm assuming those 4 committed to UT already huh?
Nope, just 2. Probably 3 by the time it is all said and done.

I stand corrected.

I STILL think he's a beast at guard and I'd love for LSU to get him...and I think UT's class so far is Da Bomb!

Chad Lindsey is visiting Alabama for today's scrimmage. I thought he was pretty much set on LSU, but this at least makes it interesting. I still think he commits to LSU.

Lindsay has been named to the ESPN Under Armour All American Team and will play in the game in January. Are you saying that LSU would not offer a kid like this? Wow!

Sure he can dominate the average high school kid but he does not have the athleticism to handle elite athletes. He's a very good player but to say that he is the best lineman in Texas is a stretch. Is that better for you?

Yeah, I'm sure Saban, Les, Stoops -- the list goes on and on w/ coaches paid millions to evaluate these kids, all passed on their due diligence and just all decided to offer this guy out of goodness of their hearts.

I didn't see that game but from what I hear they didn't go against each other as much as some think.

Word is that they weren't matched up the whole game because McFarland was moved to the other side after Linsday ROUTINELY handled him....

He will be announcing Sunday according to someone close to him. He promised a Houston TV station when he was a sophomore that he would commit on their station. Not sure which one, but it is also supposed to be on espn radio as well.

Once again he's a very good player but if you think he's the number one lineman in Texas you are wrong.

I wouldn't be surprised if his offer list was greatly exagerated and consisted mainly of verbal offers....which happens quite often BTW.

god i hate the idiots on tidefans. first they were calling lindsey, "the type of recruit that LSU usually gets out of texas," meaning that he wasn't good enough for UT or OU, and saying that saban didn't really want him and they didn't think he was a great prospect. now that there's a legit possibility he'll go to bama those delusional fricks think he's awesome. i'd like to drive to bama and slap some of those toothless idiots around

Also, his sister currently goes to LSU.
Doesn't matter. It's the Tennessee guys that create a need to take into account where their sister is... if you know what I mean.

Oh, I get it......and the Bama guys take into account where their cousins are instead. So, I guess by using this logic, it can be concluded that Tennessee fans are more inbred than Bama fans

Can't you just have fun with some smack talk? You can take an occassional break from being a douchebag.
