yeah, like last year? no wait...
CHS actually had this game. we had a TD pass called back for a tripping penalty which was absolutely hilarious.

Again? The broadcasters said Jesuit had 3 wins in something like 15 games versus Catholic. And one of the wins was a forfeit when Catholic's deep snapper was ruled ineligible after the fact. I think Catholic may have punted twice that game.
From what I saw on TV, Catholic is still trying to figure out what they have. They have been a running team for the last 5+ years and are trying to transition to a passing offense with a sophomore QB. They'll be pretty good at the end of the year once they commit to the passing game. The DL is still too small to go anywhere in the playoffs though.

I played center while zach oliver was the QB four years ago for the LA Warriors. He could throw the ball 50 yards in 5th grade. If you think about it, thats pretty good.

Catholic High has a tradition of sending it's talent out of state. The kids are encourged to travel in the summer, and work at Brothers of the Sacred Heart missions. Many of their football players have been all over the world by the time they are seniors. A large percentage of the kids parents were reloacted here from out of state. Thus the kids are more likely than not to look real hard at out of state schools. The school, ie. coaches, don't discourage them from going to LSU. The kids are just more open to moving out of state.
