Can we sign a shite load next year?

Doesn’t look like we’ll fill out our class. So do those openings move to 2021? If we only finish with 15 guys signed do we get to take 35 next year?
I feel like both of our last coaches had no idea how to play the system like Kirby, Saban and Jimbo do.
Hopefully this one is more on top of it and we get a huge class next year. Sets up nicely with all the instate talwnt we have

You know we can sign transfers even after the February signing date? We’ll likely grab some guys after spring ball that leave their school. The numbers will look much better by the summer.

We can’t hold a bunch of spots for next year. We can barely field a team now.

But we don't want to sign guys we normally never would just to be fillers. It all depends on how things shake out this year, who's willing to come here in both quality and quantity

The beauty of the portal is you’re not stuck with those guys for 4 years.
You can sign a one or two year portal guy for depth.

I think some people are overestimating the number of guys we're in on for the second signing day. I'm sure we'll be in on a new player or two, but most people signed already and even the ones we're in on are toss ups.
Can hopefully snag some Danny Lewis types but it's late in the game to develop relationships. Not really related but crazy to me Louisiana had three 4 star RBs this year and we could miss on all of them. Rare for that position.

That’s not going to happen. The roster is just too thin for them to not use every spot they can to bring in depth for next season.

Pretty sure we're not going to sign 32. So it should be able to back count at least a few next class.

Limit of 7. If 5 transfer out yiu get limit of 5 it 8 transfer out you get limit of 7 total added transfers.

We have 32 spots this year (25 regular + 7 portal spots). I wouldn’t think the portal spots are transferable to next year, but who knows with the Wild West dumpster fire that is college football recruiting these days.

They don’t even need to be transfers. Jetts Jefferson didn’t sign/enroll until July/August. Feb date is the FIRST day of the “late” signing period which runs through most of the spring. Then a HS player can still enroll after that period ends (like JJ).

It’s almost like these morons don’t even follow college recruiting enough to know the recruiting cycle isn’t even finished. They’re just here to troll.
