Can we really hang on to this many elite WR recruits in one class?

And if not who are the guys you want most? For me it’s an easy answer; JoJo Earle and Chris Hilton. Even if Brian Thomas commits which I hope he does I don’t want to lose those two, especially Jojo. I think he would be a terror in this offense just get him the ball in the space. I’ve seen rumblings about him wavering though is there any truth to that?

I’ve followed recruiting since about 1990 and Earle looks like a 5-star to me.

He’s definitely one to hang on to.

His film looks a lot like Percy Harvin’s.

same also to answer OP yea we can because we lose a lot of our WR production after this year so there is a lot of playing time for these guys to share even as freshman

I don’t see why we couldn’t hold on to all four of them. LSU spread the ball around plenty last season and will do it again if there is a season in 2020

WR mire than by one besides QBs want to play early and often so it will be a challenge but hopefully they see we spread the ball around equally and everyone gets to eat. Losing Chase, Terrace and Racey is going to be hard so we need guys ready to play early. More than any I see JoJo Earle becoming a superstar and 1st round pick.

We will have to fight to hold onto Earle and Smith. Earle will face a lot of pressure from Texas schools and Smith with have a lot of $ thrown at him to stay in state.

What worries me about Earle is he committed before even visiting

We’re losing all 3 starting receivers (Chase, Marshall, McMath) after this year and Kirklin as well. Playing time at WR will be wide open after this season.

Look how much stronger Chase looks than the kid. He really took Moffitt’s program seriously when he got to LSU and now his strength to bully corners is the one trait that makes him better than every other receiver in the country and will make him a top 10 pick in May.

Have to have Earle. Teams would absolutely have to account for him in the slot and that would free up our big guys on the outside. Him or someone like him is a must have in our offense.

Earle is almost as important as landing one of these 5 star OTs and DTs. Is there a better skill position player from a film perspective than his in this class?

They all seem to excel in different areas and that includes Thomas. Differing size, speed and skill set make them each unique so it should be an easier sell to keep them all.. Inevitably though, I wouldn’t be shocked if if we lose one, especially if Thomas commits..

I agree. He reminds me of a better version of Jakeem Grant. Anyone remember Grant scorching us against Texas Tech?
