this is obviously false, as we all know that Bama gets the top 10 players from the state every year
stop with the lies

Andy Dodd is a player from Ga. that switched to us.
Overall great commit.

We got Spencer Ware from Ohio.
We got Sam Montgomery from South Carolina.
We got Russell Shepard from Texas.
We got Patrick Peterson from Florida.
Can't we talk about those states?

We don't recruit Alabama heavily. Why do that when we can (and do) dominate Louisiana and hold a lot of pull in Mississippi and Texas? Especially just to be fighting for the 3rd-place scraps after Alabama and Auburn, and to be fighting for them with Georgia, Florida State and Florida, no less.

But Saban has and continues to lure highly ranked players from this state. I think it gives him another level of satisfaction in screwing his old team. I think he went to sleep last night with a big smile on his face and not just from landing a top ranked recruit. Just sticking it to the Tigers once again.
"Continued to lure" ??????????????
You sure don't sound like a Tiger fan to me.
Yes. Landon Collins and Cameron Robinson.
Who else ?????????????????????????
Eddie Lacy was not going to be offered by LSU because he did NOT qualify academically. Somehow he magically did at Alashama.
Alabama signed a WR from Louisiana also 2 years ago - Kenny somebody, as well as a few more that did not even pan out at Alashama..
But do you know how many high profile Louisiana recruits (and others like Andy Dodd) have chosen LSU OVER Alabama in the last few years? Randle comes to mind, among many others.
Also, Louisiana has the most per capita division 1 prospects in the nation every year - and these kids get letters and offers from all over the country, not just stinking alashama.
And what about the ones we signed FROM Alabama?
Rivers, Russell, Alexander, Williford, etc.
Fornicate alashama mulligumpneckteabaggingdetergentheadskunkrectums

Wishing J. Winston the best at Florida State until he meets LSU in the championship game.

Really, those two states are more important than any OOS recruiting bases for LSU. You recruit well from Florida and Texas, you're sitting pretty. Who gives a frick about recruiting from Bama except for a few mind-fricked fans?

Now I do. Wasn't a five star though. But does make me feel a little better.

Jamies Winston #1 DTQB in Country, #10 Player overall, 5* per Rivals. Do your homework...

First, I'm very confused as to why saying Satan "lures" players makes me a "non fan" Are you sure you know the meaning of lure?
Look at pretty much every top tier Louisiana recruit (unless they sign early) over the last few years and see if Bama isn't on their list. I personally have done the same and am amazed to find Bama almost always listed in their top 1 thru 5. Has LSU won, by far, the greatest percentage of those battles eventually? Yes. However we have lost two 5 star commits in the last three years (Landon & CRob, assuming our coaching staff can't flip CRob) and have several still to land this year with Bama listed in their top 3. How can LA players so often at least think of playing for our number one nemesis? Seems to be the ultimate betrayal to their home state to me. Through no fault of their own (they didn't choose to be born and raised here) these players represent the hopes and dreams of National Championships to LSU fans. It may just be a game but you can see by the dollars invested and dollars earned that it's a damn BIG deal. I know in my heart it's not right to put that sort of responsibility or guilt on the shoulders of 17 to 18 year old kids. But perhaps the extent I immerse myself in LSU fandom keeps me from understanding their choice of THE one football team most clearly standing in the way of our road to another NC.

Here's it for you in a nutshell; Not every kid that grows up here loves LSU like you do.

Man.. This is retarded. Do you realize how many states lose their top players to OOS programs every single fricking year? Yes, to rival schools too. All you have to do is look at Michigan and Ohio State. They're constantly losing players to each other. Bama is in a historic run right now. THAT is the reason kids are taking a serious look at them. Think back to USC a few years back. They were plucking kids from all over the nation. When a school is at the top of college football, their offer becomes the best compliment a kid can receive. Same thing with basketball where an offer from Duke/UNC/UCLA is what every kid dreams if being good enough to receive. Not all of them grow up dreaming of playing at LSU. A lot do, but some just dream of being able to be in position to go the NFL. At certain positions, Bama is the best place to accomplish those dreams. Why can't some of you see why these kids show interest in the best program in the nation is just beyond belief.

Wow. So LSU just won't get you to the NFL. That's not only retarded, it's just not true. Nice try though, Bama Troll!

Players should never choose a school because it is in the state they live. The fans of any school don't care about a player outside of what they can do for them on the field. If they don't pan out they will be called all sorts of derogatory things because they didn't give the fans what they wanted.Considering that, players should go where they feel is best for them. It's too bad there are fans who actually criticize a kid for going where he wants. These are the ones who would be the first to berate a player who didn't live up to some rating.

Last year, there were 20 kids that signed with LSU and Alabama that had offers from both schools. LSU signed 12 and Bama 8.
So far this year of the players committed to either school, 7 had offers from both schools...LSU has 5 and Bama 2.
What's the next question?

That's just bullshite. Players that go out of state are not rewarded for their disloyalty in their life after football. Those that were loyal will be. The people that watched them playing high school football remember their loyalty and that will not be forgotten. The business owners and patrons of that community don't forget their names or accomplishments. Nor will it be forgotten of those who chose their rival.
