Did Oklahoma offer him two scholarships?

The potential ceiling is very high for him but there's a reason he was kept a 3-star, he was not even close to being ultra dominant or a finished ready to go player. He's a multi-year project.

Not sure why this post got down-voted. It's spot on. He's very raw & needs to gain weight, but could develop into a very good player in 2-3 years.

And offer means it was committable at some point in time. Goodrich had a standing offer to LSU prior to the early signing date. After the early signing date the offer was pulled and was reoffered once it became clear the Foster wasn't going to commit

A guy like Okeke had LT potential but left too early in his career.

You can’t be a wimp and play football. Chidi could have stayed at LSU 10 years and he still would not have been good.

Yep, both would be 4* had they committed to bama, Ohio St. or UGA

This is so dumb, there’s evidence and results on the field to justify the higher rankings of players who have committed to these schools

So let's just assume he redshirts. Any chance we could see him get some playing time as a RS freshman in some goal line packages functioning like a blocking tight end or just an extra tackle? If he's that athletic I think they might find some niche roles for him before he is ready for primetime.

That would depend on strength. Of course one assumes, for obvious reasons, if he's getting stronger he's also putting on good weight.

I'll take strength and agility over 30 lbs of extra road grader anyday. You love to have both, but your OTs don't have to be 300 lbs.

Just keep in mind, he needs a fair amount of technique work also. That's what puts him in that 'project' catagory, somewhat. But thankfully he's got what's hard to teach/drill- that athleticism and agility.

Or maybe he could get reps as a blocking tight end late in games where we are up and grinding out the clock

Well I'm glad, when I came home I looked up the Roster and was even more surprised he was only a Jr, then proceeded to look everywhere from DD to 247, could not find ANYTHING of note and began to doubt myself, what jumped out at me was his weight/frame and how much of it was good weight but mainly how explosive, agile, and just how well he moved at that size and as soon as he started going to camps that was all you heard about him, he will be one of the top 2-3 surprises in this class
