Franks was not even remotely as solid to LSU as Brennan. Comparing that situation is just dumb. Not to mention it was obvious to everyone on planet earth we had 0 shot at Tua.

This whole situation really needs to be explained as a fan I never like to assume anything. My gut feeling is Brennan really gets IT as a player (between the ears) and I hope O didn't frick this up. Just don't understand the logic behind offering QB T, especially at this stage of recruiting. Almost like just throwing a offer out when Brennan was not only solid but trying to recruit for LSU at camps. Until I hear more I'm very disappointed with this coaching staff.

I don't know. It's hard for me to be upset at O for taking a chance on one of the best QBs in the country. Why didn't he already have an offer from LSU?

He's a guy you have no shot at and you finish stomping on your own dick with Brennan. People who want to bash Brennan because he doesn't want to compete for the job are missing all the other things at play. All of the other dumb comments O has made about wanting dual threat QBs. It all makes it seem like Brennan wouldn't get a fair shake at a true competition for the job. It's just dumb.

Can't understand why anyone would consider Ole Miss right now. They are still under investigation and who knows what kind of probation they will be getting. Especially at Quarterback.

Go to coaching changes page, and look at tigerlawyer's comments. Dude makes a lot of sense. Looks like O wants to go to a power spread offense, which fits the talent coming out of LA. Hence the interest in other QBs.
