this regime is just not off to a good start. I don't get how you give the cold shoulder to the best QB prospect we've had in a while that really wants to be here. Unbelievable.

While I don't agree with the Brennan mishap by our staff, I don't understand all the bitching, moaning and whining about it like the world has ended. He's just a recruit not an actual player at LSU that has proven he can play.
How many were touting Jarrett Lee, Hayden Rettig, Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris as our savior at QB? How did those work out? It's a crap shoot an the kid has proven nothing other than in a pinball style offense in hs. Even the rankings sites differ on his ability and none have him ranked where many in our fanbase would rank him. Maybe, just maybe O(and whomever else contributed) isn't as high on him as others on or formerly on the staff.
Also what O did by offering Tua isn't a crime or even a bad move. Many feel he's the best qb in the class and maybe O does as well. Maybe he's just trying to get the best of the best based on his thinking. These kids change their minds all the time, take visits and decommit yet it's acceptable but coaches can't offer another kid? To me the whole situation is ridiculous from all sides. O for at least not communicating first (if that's how it happened) and the Brennan for acting like he's the only qb in the country LSU should like.

Don't you get it ? It's the fact O is openly courting a completely different style QB than Brennan's style. O should have kept his mouth shut, and just let it become obvious in recruiting what his schemes will be. You do realize most recruits have already decided where they want to go or leaning by this time?
This is the time you put in the work and get those recruits interested.

Sorry but this is bullshite. You ain't getting a top rated QB who is already commuted to Bama to flip when you have shown him no interest all year and only offer him a month before he signs.
