The way this kid’s been handling this stuff behind the scenes is driving a lot of

Captain, to be fair that post was sent out by Russell at 921est. He was allegedly "stuck in traffic " and didn't commit until almost 10. So that was clearly before he committed to the 'cluse. He's stated since that his recruitment is "over". Where have we heard that before??
All that being said, no way is this dudes recruitment over. There are plenty of bigger programs than the one he committed to, and they'll have bigger bags.
Just providing context on the comment he made.

Some of these 5 stars commitment decisions are mind boggling
The best one to me so far is the 4 star WR from Miss, Xavier McDonald, committing to Sacramento State.

I appreciate that. I haven’t kept up with his recruitment since I didn’t think we were in it now catching up on it Michigan fans are going crazy. Seems that Bryce Underwood couldn’t deliver

Who was the sure thing WR that went to Maryland a few years ago? What ever happened to him?

USC played for a conference championship the last year we did.
Chill with the hate. It’s a money game now. They got plenty of it. We got patches to be sold.

Rakim Jarrett
He is in the league with the Bucs. Went undrafted, but is like a 5th or 6th receiver for them. I saw him make a catch a couple of years ago and was shocked he was on a roster lol.
If you are a five star, you’ll get a billion chances to succeed as long as something serious doesn’t happen legally.

everyday since 2020 college football becomes worse by the day

5 star guys signing with Syracuse is a good outcome in comparison to 50 percent of them signing with bama back in 2020

USC is also putting all their money into recruiting. They struck out in the portal and I can't imagine current player retention is that $$, which means they are allotting a lot more money to recruiting this year then perhaps other teams are (since those other teams also are focusing on portal and retention). The single largest factor in comparing the cost of living to other areas is housing including property insurance and property taxes. It doesn't cost a recruit anything when a luxury home or condo is provided other than an opportunity for that school's particular collective to overstate the value of the NIL deal.

State tax would be a huge factor. State tax rate in louisiana is 3% and 12.3% in California. You get to keep more of your money. The price for goods and services is also much higher. 1 million will last a lot longer in Louisiana and you get more out of it. So even if your house and transportation is taken care of recruits still lose 9.3% of their income plus the cost of goods and services being 21% higher in California.

I’m convinced these kids have no concept of this. Their agents or parents should know better but seeing those exorbitant taxes take over half your NIL money will make me think twice about going to Cali or New York as opposed to staying in the south.
