Eh, I mean maybe. That’s a hell of a leap to assume that Howard would transfer just because CW mentioned LSU.

This was probably just leaked to get a better NIL deal from USC.

As much as LSU fans should love Myles Brennan, if you can get Caleb Williams you do it.

True & Brennan can hop back in the portal.
There is no debate between Brennan or Williams.

I mean Brennan isn't that committed to us. He's committed to being a starter next year. If he comes out of training camp as backup to Nuss, then he's back in the portal.

Absurd - he is following Lincoln who developed 2 Heisman QBs that went at the top of the NFL draft. BK and Company have never developed a successful NFL QB let alone Heisman winners and top of NFL draft.

Makes ZERO sense. Would love to believe it because that only means he wants to be here.

Maybe it's more LSU vs USC, instead of BK vs Lincoln? How many successful NFL QBs has USC had recently? I'm sure Williams is very aware of Burrow & his wr's dominating the NFL right now

Just USC trying to use LSU to drump up more money for Caleb. Just like Riley did.

Don’t really understand him following Lincoln if he’s concerned about his development for the NFL.

Baker, Kyler, and Rattler aren’t great examples for him.

I mean it isn't that far removed from what Riley and his agent did while both us and USC were looking.

That’s not what happened at all. Lincoln and Kelly have the same agent. Woodward was never really going after Riley. Kelly was was always the target. Riley did not “play LSU”.

No offense to Brennan and Nuss but would be all in on this. Think how many other players this would draw.

False. Both were transfers

To say that Riley “developed them into Heisman winners” would also mean you’d have to say Ed Orgeron “developed Joe Burrow into a Heisman winner”.

Except not at all. Ed had nothing to do with quarterbacks. Riley called plays and worked directly with quarterbacks. This point is completely off

I don’t think he is coming to LSU.But let’s say he hypothetically did come to LSU.He would have a better chance to win a National Title and better chance to win a Heisman trophy in the SEC.Even with Williams,USC isn’t going to make a playoff in the next 2-3 seasons

This is just a ploy to build drama about his decision. No way he doesn’t end up at USC
