JD5 had strides at asu as a true freshman finished 8-4 same as underwood Lane Kiffen offense #itsjustdifferent and LSUBaker can make a Heisman candidate in 2026 and moving forward like Tua did at bama - if he didn’t get hurt Lane had tua on par with burrow at bama - Bryce can run like JD5- Lamar and has arm like Burrow - just needs to be tuned by the qb whispering CLK!!!

There are better QBs out there. I know he was just a freshman, but I think we can legitimately make a run next year, I don't know if a project at QB gets us there.

Underwood's stats were not nearly as good as JD's.
Specifically, JD threw for 2943 yards (245.3 YPG, 8.7 YPA, 14.4 YPC), 17 TDs with 2 ints, and rushed for 3 TDs
Underwood threw for 2229 yards (185.8 YPG, 7.6 YPA, 12.5 YPC), 9 TDs with 6 ints, and rushed for 5 TDs
