BB publicly planning an unofficial to Miami > UT fans having secret confirmation of a "lock"
BB has every reason in the world to skip an unofficial to Miami if he is indeed decided on UT. A death in the family. Miami "not interested". It's not free to travel. He's already traveled a lot and is probably tired of the process by now.
Until someone comes out with something better sourced, I'm taking the rumors with a grain of salt.

It also contradicts what you edited out. Do you not feel confident in that? It did sound kind of made up.
I learned it was made up

Those sources were right on Nukeese Richardson, Janzen Jackson, and Ed Orgeron, so they are solid but Bryce can always change his mind.
I want to know how they are finding this info out?
UT staff must have loose lips

I can't imagine him not liking the idea of playing with Shep, JJ, RR, that O-line, a serious oppurtunity to play for a national championship
Seriously, does everyone realize that if we actually signed Brown we would have a class that includes the #1 QB in the country, the #1 WR in the country, and the #1 RB in the country...all in the same class!!! That is mind-blowing sick.
That being said...I'm not getting my hopes up. This way I won't be deflated should he put on a hideous orange jersey. I have a feeling the hill people are pretty confident considering the recent ride when they swiped Richardson, Myles, and (hack...spit...phlegm) on NSD.

There have been 3 or 4 of the most reliable vol's posters say he will be a vol, but like I said a lot can change between now and when he signs
So because 3 or 4 posters say it, you would bet your house? Dumb bet

Maybe reading too much into this one - I hope he comes to LSU

They have a 4200 reply thread on Brown...amazing numbers..a bunch of childish silliness along the way, but none the less, it's reminds me of the Coach O and JJ threads they had going..
Try reading that thread. Most of their top posters changed their tune as the thread progressed.
My money is on Brown to either Miami or Oregon. I think he's too scared to come play with the big boys. Just my thoughts.

Dunno if that's been posted, but he says AS OF YESTERDAY that he is still committed to Miami. I wonder what excuse your "super duper insider" Vol is going to use when BB does the obvious?
"He was a super secret commit to the Vols, but he switched to UM at the last minute."
Kinda like what a certain pay site operator said about Trent Richardson.

Listen, here's what you got.
Miami-In the lead because his brother plays there. Simple as that. Blood is thicker than water, so it just come down to that.
Oregon-PLEASE! No real tradition, great facilities, but little or no championships, very little talent compared to most of the other schools he's looking at. Has virtually no ties there whatsoever.
Tennessee-Used car salesman Kiffin has already been in trouble with SEC officials, has no credibility as a college head coach, has a WACKO assistant in Ogeron (see thread about the "special teams ranting for potential recruits" thread. Has not won anything significant in years and this is the first year under Kiffin's regime with an all new coaching staff. Who is their qb this season? Who will be the go to receiver? How does he KNOW the offense will be productive? Too many questions and IF's at Tennepuke.
KSU-Uh, that is waaaaaayyyyyy too easy!
LSU-Great facilities. A football program that is surging and one of the top 5 programs in the nation for the past 8 years. 2 national championships, SEC championships and haven't lost a bowl games since Saban's last year. HUGE recruiting class and an bowl MVP winner in (now) sophomore J.Jefferson. Having the #1 rated qb and #1 rated wr on board certainly doesn't hurt. Will have a MONSTER FB in D.Allen who could be the best FB to play at LSU in quite some time. Another great young back in Ford, who can spell Brown without us losing any production hence not having to give the ball to Brown 35 times a game, of which he said he did not want to do. Two great college offensive minds in Miles and Crowton. Father is from Bogulusa, La as well as other family members. I mean, yeah I'm biased, but in reality, if you look at it seriously, it comes down to two schools. LSU and Miami. If he wants to play with his brother, then we're out. If he wants to win and possibly win a couple of NC's and rack up HUGE numbers, LSU will be his choice. The others schools are non entities in my book. Fwiw.

Homoerotic shirt-ripping does not qualify as "the force".

Not unless Oregon or Miami travel to Neyland one year. I've heard absolutely nothing to suggest he had anything other than a tolerable visit to UT.

Are we hearing anything concrete out of the Brown camp? Or is it all rumors?

Volnation is giddy over there..
They have major smoke coming from insiders, they claim..
Apparently, posters that have a solid reputation are all hearing the same thing type of deal.
After the JJ saga, they have to be taken somewhat seriously, even though they are Facebook stalkers

serious recruiting violations going on with UT.

and they don't know any more than I do. hell. a Miami Herald Hurricane beat writer said this in his last column:
quote:
Blue-chip reporters from top-notch newspapers like the New York Times, magazines like Sports Illustrated and TV and radio stations have covered Bryce Brown nearly as much as the Alex Rodriguez steroid scandal. They've done it all because they want to be the first to tell you whether or not Bryce Brown's letter of intent was pulled by UM, or, if he may or may not make an official or unofficial visit to watch the Canes practice next week. Frankly, it's pathetic.

your sources are no better than these guys unless they gave him a bag of money recently.

well they knew more than you guys did when it came to Janzen Jackson and Ed Orgeron...sure they could be wrong but until they are I'm going to believe them
