Voluntary manslaughter. Received 11 years. But yes, really sad situation.

He was a piece of shite in my eyes long before then. On signing day he said he was committing to LSU, but wanted to wait until his mom came in town. Once she arrived he committed to Tennessee.

frick Janzen Jackson.

Kid wants LSU bad. His oldman wants A&M, not sure if money related. Dad has some Texas connections and is cowgirl fan. I think kid is a Tiger when all is said and done.

Terrible if true

Parents, let your damn children make decisions and trust that you raised them well.

Well tell that motherfricker to apply online and he can go to A&M and his son can go where he wants to go. These parents who act like this is their moment instead of their kids are the absolute worst.

all i know is this is the kind of recruitment to get a program in trouble, tennessee style.

rumors of bagmen and soliciting bids are making it to ohio state boards and we've never even been in on his recruitment at all.

A&M in particular is really gaining a reputation for coming in heavy with the cash. incidentally so is maryland.

I wonder if there is a common denominator between all the schools you just listed.

Seems like all those coaches worked for Saban.

Yep Mr Fulmer has been running a dirty program since he undermined Johnny Majors.
His dirty program got them a National Championship. But some folks in academia exposed him and it all came tumbling down. The admin was foolish and put him back in charge with Pruit. Down goes Fulmer.

The Saban coaching tree practicing what they’ve been taught. They just don’t hide it nearly as well as the master.

I keep telling you all on here that when your program sponsors own their own bank anything is possible... See Bryant Bank.

well when is his eighteenth birthday so I won't have to check back til then?!?!

Seriously, if there is shady business going on - I hope the kid can stay out if it and sign the scholly to LSU because I think he will be very succesful in Baton Rouge.

His height and length and ability to get up and grab those jump balls is something I think is lacking in the recieving core we have and crucial for the red zone. i predict he will get playing time early.

He does need to add some muscle but moffitt will get him io to speed in no time.

He and Hilton need to keep the partnership going!

According to college guidelines, your parent's signature is required until age 24.

A&M just picked up a transfer. They should be out of room.

The Aggies have one commit who still hasn't signed, so they should still be at 24 even with the transfer if my math is correct...which isn't always a given.

I know we do. Never said we didn’t. But we aren’t as flagrant about it. We had a fricking dumbass rogue booster who got us in trouble because he got in trouble, but you don’t see us out throwing cash around like OM under Freeze or UT the last two years.

That shite gets the NCAA eyeballs focused on you. It also gets other programs calling in tips on you. If other fanbases, especially outside the SEC are taking notice, then A&M is starting to get sloppy. Football reporters are saying the same thing about UGA, as well. Supposedly the NCAA is already winding up on them over some of the same players that UT got in trouble for.

We “do what everybody does” at about the same level as most major programs. Players know they will be “taken care of”...sometimes even more extras come into play, but it’s fairly rare that money is the primary factor in the decision (ie “bidding war” or “here’s our price, meet it.”

Bama does it to a level far, far greater than anyone else. They have a network set up that’s far beyond any other school. It’s iron clad. It’s not just “bag men” but car dealers, bankers, politicians, real estate developers, high school coaches AND administrators and other “businessmen”. There is no university in the country that football is more important to, nor is there any other state whose identity is so tied into college football. It’s intertwined with “the machine”. Not the same organization, but they work in tandem. The organization extends nationally, into the ncaa and the media. Saban and his connection to Emmert is just the icing on the cake.

Think I’m joking? Ask yourself why the only place you see people questioning Alabama signing 26-28-26-30 guys a year isn’t questioned anywhere else but fan message boards? Why did the DJ Fluker situation disappear? Why does no one questioned the unprecedented sustained recruiting success they’ve had all the sudden under Saban.

The schools that get in trouble are the ones that “step out of line” or don’t “know their place”. See Ole Miss.

The situation with Alexander only saw the light of day because of the criminal aspect on where the money came from.

However, if a student enrolls, he can then accept a scholarship without a parents signature.
Unless the rules have changed recently.
