Well, I guess that ends this story. The guy has severe learning problems. Some of the shots that some of you are taking at this guy is f-in ridiculous. Thank God the ones that are taking shots at him have no one they know with a severe learning problem. I would bet that 100% of us would love to be in his shoes about right now. I would have loved to see him at LSU trucking over people. I remember watching him against EDW, he was a man among boys.

From the interviews I have seen, Jacobs is relatively well spoken. If he does have a learning disability, he has worked hard to overcome it. People who make fun of people with learning disabilities are some of the biggest POS on Earth.
Now if he was fat, bring on the fatty hate. Sure, it's your thyroid...

I remeber watching the Friday night high school show that came on after the news.
He was trucking everyone who tried to tackle him.

He didn't have a learning disability, he was dumb as a box of rocks and didn't have a prayer of being eligible out of H.S., his academic career went H.S., JUCO, AU, JUCO/SIU.

SIU isn't JUCO.

I went to high school with him. Saban wanted him to move to DE, but he was determined to play RB. He was actuallt leaning towards Nebraska but he couldn't qualify. So he went to Coffeyville CC, Aubrun, then S. Illinois.

Who gives a shite, the dude is a football player. Why do people have to keep bring up this shite. How can you say he does not have a learning disability and he is dumb as a box of rocks in the same sentence? You think people choose not to be smart. The dude plays in the NFL and is set for life financially if he spends his money wisely. Who is the dumb box of rocks?

You just answered your own question, in ten years he'll be just like Mike Tyson wondering where all the money went.

Went to school with him. He did not take special ed classes. He just didn't give a frick, which caused him to have to go to Coffeyville. LSU recruited him to play defense, but he hated both defense and LSU. Auburn was the front runner from the beginning because he would be able to play running back and loved the coaches. He is a very well spoken and does not have a learning disability.

I said "if" because it is better than saying, in ten years he will be just like Mike Tyson. What proof do you have of this? If he does, then it would have been one hell of a ride that you and I could only dream of.

You may be right, but I thought I remember that he was LSU's all to lose and the Mighty Midget would not budge from him playing RB.

No, he listened to what LSU had to offer, which was a defensive position and that ended it. Never liked LSU, he's said quite often that he hates LSU

Call it an educated guess.
Ever heard the expression about a fool and his money?
People who become millionaires notwithstanding the fact that they were too dumb to make it into college often don't stay millionaires for long. Notice I am not talking about the Bill Gates of the world (he made it into Harvard btw) who go to college but then drop out and make a fortune. I am talking about the kids are too stupid to ever get accepted to a Univ.
Heard a statistic that almost 70% of NBA players are bankrupt 10 years out of the league. Why do you suppose that is? Could it be intelligence perhaps. Same goes for lottery winners. Do you know how many of them are bankrupt a few years after winning big? A surprisingly high percentage.
I think Gordon Gecko said it best, a fool and his money were lucky to have gotten together in the first place.
And this whole bit about him “hating” LSU and thus wanting to go elsewhere is laughable since he had no chance of ever getting into a university out of high school. He didn’t chose AU over LSU, he chose JUCO over working at McDonald’s.

You are wrong my friend. He was always going to AU, but had to go to JUCO to qualify. This was always known and was the plan from day 1.
This is not opinion, like your statements. This is fact. Both as a neighbor and classmate, and whom I speak to every couple of months, believe me when I say, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WTF YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT.

Sure, Sport, whatever you say, and but for those pesky little things called a GPA and an ACT, he was all Auburn.
