Are there really true "beefs" on this board? If there are, that is pretty hilarious to me.

Wouldn't be wise for me to do that. I was too honest the last time and I got in trouble. Suffice it to say that James Smith of NOLA.com completely agreed with my analysis 6 months later on an LSU prospect which I asked about during a chat over there. Needless to say after that, I consider James Smith a DAMN GENIUS!!! :jump1:

All those quotes mean is that he wants to fix a broken situation. We haven't had a QB worth a sh** since 2007 which is what still draws the high 4 stars here to get a chance to "build a program". LSU is elite in every aspect except QB play. That is our Achilles heel, and I wait patiently til Miles, whoever is the OC, and whoever is the QB, to fix this. We haven't had a clutch QB play since Auburn 08 and we haven't had a clutch QB since Matt Flynn.

Agree about the QB situation and ironically as you said, that has attracted the 4* QBs thinking "Hey, I can do better than that guy". Unfortunately, it has hurt LSU with WRers because they know they don't control their own destiny...bad QBs mean the ball is not thrown consistently to them and LSU moves back to the run. I do disagree with you saying that is only LSU's problem. You might have noticed the lack of OL drafted in the last several years in the NFL and is the main liability IMO to the recruiting of {name not to be spoken here}. Plus, how many elite TEs have LSU had....guys that can run patterns and catch the ball. Also, LSU has had trouble rushing the passer....13 sacks by the starting DE's last year, not very good.

I have said that Zach Lee was the answer at QB because I saw the guy play and you could add all the QBs since Matt Flynn together...still not the skillset of Zach Lee.

I haven't read most of this thread but I think he has known where he's going for a while because you don't make a decision date in the summer if you aren't sure where you want to go. All this with this auburn stuff is just hype for the announcement.

If you're going into your senior year, and you live in LA, you're not announcing you're committing to anyone but LSU.

That's great news for LSU...the bigger the hyperbole for the rating, that usually means it is just for show. I know LSU has lost some guys that rated their LSU visit 11 and 12's.
