He stated towards the end that Toviano is now a safety moving forward and that will stay that way. Also a few guys have already signed on to transfer to LSU, BK just didn't want to take their announcement away from them but did expect them to annouce within the next 24 hours. He did say help on the o line and the back end (safety?) were on the way. We rollin.

He said toviano is taking the staring reps there at practice right now. Would love for this kid to emerge next year

I like Toviano a lot and I think this is a natural transition.

Did Kelly state something about ending up with close to 15 transfers? I believe he also suggested we are looking at some guys in the playoffs?

I’ve been critical of BK. He made some bad staff decisions his first year and this season was subpar. However, he is doing a fantastic job using the portal for next season. He’s figured out how to combine recruiting and the portal to not overspend on either and put together a solid roster with some depth. He deserves credit for this. I’m excited for next season.

The big question is...did LSU offer Gilbert a 2 year guarantee to sign him out of the portal from A$M.
For LSU to have the back end I want, Gilbert need not see the field except for mop up duty.

His coverage skills at corner as a freshman were not great, but thrust into that position dude played his arse off. Get him on the field where he can excel and I think this guy blows up. Hoping for the best for him. Just leave the phone off record.
