Billy is notoriously a huge pussy when it comes to his picks. He NEVER puts himself out there.

Looks good. I guess we feel we can't outbid for Colin Simmons out of Duncanville?

Seems like a very weak class in regard to top tier talent coming from out of state. Would be nice to pop a Dashawn Womack type guy

Love seeing crawford, mack, mckinley, and singleton.

Have to get those 4 at a minimum.

I have been saying they need to pick it up and finish strong.

Solid class, but nothing special. The staff will probably aim a bit higher at some positions than Billy listed.

Agreed but I would be ok with this class and building long term depth at some of our positions of need. Would feel even better though if we got a Perkins type player to put a cherry on top and get at least one proven elite/versatile difference maker in this class. The coaches seem really focused on building culture and depth right now which I think is a smart play for us long term. Then when you have those two established you can take bigger swings on elite guys.

If we were already in a great position with depth I would be more disappointed in that prediction but we all know things could change quickly, for better or worse, when it comes to recruiting.

But talented, CBK is a master of the portal. Thats where he looks like his team's are going to come from. Looks like the recruites are going to come in and develop in 2 years or leave. Portal is where he replaces them. 2 and 3bstars all over starting super Bowl rosters. I like what CBK is doing.

Stars matter, it has been proven over and over again. There is a direct correlation with top classes and national titles. Right now this class looks mid

1 month ago the state of Louisiana looked down for the class of 2024 and now it’s about right where it should be. It’s spring and most of these recruits will rise in summer camps and their senior year. It’s amazing how we go over this same talking point every year.

He got 50% correct.... so basically he's just taking a shot in the dark here. Billy's 2023 prediction was a total crapshoot outside of the guys we had committed at the time he posted that.

Agree and this will always be true. The difference is now you have a chance to get 4 and 5 start talent through the portal even if you missed on them on signing day.
