Byrd was a better basketball player then football, unknown fact. I was good defender he wore me out . I had a very long night and tired as all hell chasing him that game.

Brian Mitchell was a one man wrecking crew at Plaquemine..he was a sr. My freshman year and he single handedly beat my Purple Panthers. Believe he finished his career at USL as the NCAA's first qb to have over 5K passing yards and 3K rushing yards during his career. Had a solid NFL career with the Redskins as a return man and utility running back....had over 19K return yards in the NFL.

An evangel quarterback either Berlin or Booty

I don’t remember but one of them would put on a show in some games I attended as a very young person

I haven’t seen many good QBs in HS

Saw a few of Brock Berlin's games...he was an unreal HS qb. He ran their offense to perfection.

Was hoping someone else would say this too. I’m pretty sure that’s who I saw

Hebert, Fourcade, and the Manning brothers for me as well but Jamie Howard wasn't bad. Buras had a kid named Corey Bouie (I think) who was also fun to watch. Reminded me a little of Rohan Davey.

Tommy Wilcox. Smarter and more humble than Fourcade.
