Definitely have LSU’s next walk-on there…maybe the next scholarship kicker as well.

Camp is at Dutchtown. Sold out, full staff…will be a good one.

Nothing to do with the topic but I’m genuinely curious as to why someone downvoted the OP. I get topics that are maybe someone’s opinion but this is just a fellow sharing some info that relates to recruiting on the recruiting board. Anyways carry on.

I say best kickers in the state…but these are the best kickers in the country. Definitely the most highly recruited’25s and ‘26s…I expect some good younger ones as well.

His obsession with his son being a kicker and mentioning it in every thread he can has rubbed some people the wrong way I guess.

Gaston brings what appears to be a pretty well informed opinion on this particular area. I enjoy reading what he has to say.

Nothing wrong with being proud of your son. I am sure if he was a QB then more people would be interested. I haven’t paid any attention to this but just listening to the comment on “best kickers in the country” and wondering if he is referring to his son. If so, I would suggest limiting expectations to keep from putting pressure on the boy.

Five of the top 10 or so 2025 kickers in the country will be there, and other boys who kick just as well.

Pressure is part of it.

Oh yea. Those guys are amazing. They spin those short snaps and control where the laces end up. Blows my mind. Long snaps under .68 seconds…that’s throwing it.

I haven’t looked at the rankings and they obviously vary but at one point his son was or is the number one kicker in the country

Who'd have thought in the great USA being proud of your childs success would be considered a less than redeeming quality.

G,
Your son committed or leaning towards Arkansas ? Thought I recently read that on the forum. If so congrats brother

Nice. Best of luck to him. Like someone else said, probably just jealousy then. You do you and talk about it all you want because in the grand scheme, who cares about downvotes anyway.

Mostly how they handled Cam. Starting as a true freshman in the SEC…Cam had the game winner to beat LSU as freshman. The staff is just really aware what kickers need to do in both the weight room and recovery. My son will chart on every day Cam did and he’ll be able to compare accuracy rates and distances. The road map to success is right there…just have to develop.

I’m confused, your son G is going to be a freshman at Arky on scholarship, Cam Little is leaving early for the Pros, does your son have a chance to kick as a freshman or do they have a K in waiting? He (Cam) should stay imo- We all watched York and I thought he was the best I’ve every seen and he flamed out. Good luck to your son and I know this exciting for your fam.

One of my best friend's son is a long snapper. He went to a camp there a couple of months ago and was ranked #2 in the nation. Coolest kid and only a sophomore. He really hopes to go to LSU. I told him he better be #1 by then. LOL. He and his dad invited me to the camp at LSU in June so I can see all the facilities with them. I'm stoked about that.

Ark got a transfer from Hawaii for a year.

Cam should most definitely not stay. Go live the dream.
