Best I remember see play was Travis Minor. Honestly.

That dude was sick in high school.

Yea people talk about Dunn because he did better in NFL but Minor was a psycho in high school, absolutely embarrasing those teams didn't win State more.

Any of you guys ever see James Jacquet play? He was the fastest guy I ever saw with pads on. He didn't have the moves that Faulk or Doucet had, but he could flat out fly. Unfortunately, he was such a frick up, he quickly wore out his welcome at LSU.

Troy Filer and Cornelius Gedward were other great ones from St. Martinville back when they had a great program.

Anthony Thomas (1993-1996)

He holds virtually every rushing record at the school and has nearly double the career rushing yards (7,594) and rushing touchdowns (92) as his nearest competitor. Thomas had three 2,000 yard rushing seasons and 20 games where he rushed for 200 or more yards. His also holds the single rushing and scoring record at the school, that coming in the opening round of the 1995 playoffs when he rushed for 8 touchdowns (5 covering 60 or more yards) in route to a 486 yard rushing night. Thomas was a three-time All District and All-State selection at running back.

Anthony scored those 8 touchdowns in only 3 qtrs against North Caddo. Only played RB 3 years at Winnfield its possible he would have broken the 9,000 yard barrier. Cecil and Anthony were the best HS runningbacks I have ever seen with my one eyes. Cecil could have been one of the greats

Ricky Murphy for Rayvegas, LA was the baddest assed high school running back in the entire history of high school. He probably would be in the most bad assed's college conversation too had he not gone and played for someone who is either extremely Rayvilly biased, or a complete buffon.

Dude made me his bitch more than once in that game
He was a manchild and mean as frick.
I tackled Lafleur, Ike Hillard, Dartez, Chucky Patton from Crowley and Lawrence Nixon from Jennings and none were anything like Clifton Rubin. Poor guy went and played at Baylor.
