4 commits in 4 days!

-DJ Chester officially in public he knew where he was going months ago.

-Shea loves the offensive line class. Top guys in Louisiana which is huge. Can Heard have the same impact like Campbell and Jones?

-The two inside guys from Georgia have a lot of upside. Chester could see playing time early. Like to have 7-8 guys to rotate. Chester currently plays RT for his high school

-Brad Davis had this wrapped up since the Bayou Splash in July

-LSU lands their 2024 QB Colin Hurley who reclassified. Sloan worked hard with Sayin and just kept grinding.

-Florida really wanted Hurley. Chess not checkers as Billy says from Sloan.

-Kids reclassify mostly in basketball but now more popular. Very rare for a sophomore to do it. Everything is a green light.

-Colin has thrown at all the big name schools and impressed early on. Only 15 but the QB room at LSU is a bright spot.

-He's been groomed his entire life by QB trainers and specialists.

-Khayree Lee committing and he earned his offer from BK. they asked him to lose weight and he did. He was going to pop win or lose for the Bama game.

-John Ehret is great school to have the pipeline aka Wardell Mack

-7 current commits in the 2024 class

-Dylan Carpenter flipped from the Cajuns. On a tear as a senior. 81 inch wingspan. He camped during the summer and the coaches told him to come on.

-Shea preaching about how kids can make jumps during their senior year. Happens every year where LSU doesn't offer early as to not burn bridges but to evaluate.

-LSU is wining in the trenches recruiting for a year one staff

-Still working Harbor and Amari Washington

-Desmond Ricks & Javien Toviano both in attendance for the alabama game.

-Ricks has been to LSU as much as any other campus. Upcoming visits to Bama for the Iron bowl, Visiting Florida then LSU before the dead period. He will commit the 23rd. He is an EE.

-Shea says he believes that LSU is the leader. NIL era as well but doesn't know how much that is in play. No RPM pick for Shea at this time. Billy will have a write up about Ricks soon.

-Talking NIL about Cormani that NIL was the reason he committed to Miami. That's the rumor is that he got super paid. Shea & Billy discussing if they think Ricks will come down to an NIL deal. Billy says that Cormani could have reset the market.

-Doesn't believe Ricks is in it for the cash but Cormani was supposed to be a lock to Florida and now they need a back up plan.

-You watch the Toviano video rushing the field and you just think it's LSU. Everything points to him loving LSU.

-Toviano will visit Texas this weekend along with 5* Anthony Hill. Can't forget he is from Texas. First time sicne this spring he will be back at Texas.

-Visits LSU end of July for the Bayou Splash. He then visits first home game against Southern. Skips Alabama vs Texas for it.

-Has seen A&M/Arkansas in Jerry World and then OU/Texas in Dallas.

-Billy seems a bit skeptical of the timing because kids are decommitting from A&M and looking like they might flip to Texas.

-Toviano from the get go has always said months ago that he knew where he wanted to go.

-Every visit he has come to LSU he has brought more family. Every visit isn't just him bringing a friend or two along its family

-You're starting to see the LSU and Texas battles in recruiting for the DB's and other players. All leading up Texas joining the SEC and Terry Joseph on Texas staff.

-He's never named a leader the entire process. He's very particular about things. Interesting to see who the final 2-3 teams are going to be. Expected to be at A&M/LSU.

-Yaites has his official for Bama. Jaxon Howard was on campus.

-Ayden Williams flip watch. Bo Hughley also on flip watch. Hughley skipping the Tennessee/UGA.

-LSU adding any more OL is just icing on the cake at this point. UGA folks think he could flip to Auburn at one point but with there shite show LSU is now in the mix.

-LSU trying to get him back for an official visit for Bo Hughley.

-Ayden will be a hard pull because LSU has a hard time getting Mississippi kids to flip. Can't count out Cortez Hankton.

-Harvey Broussard another name to watch. Billy mentions if Jalen Brown flips but he just said he was going to be an EE so I don't see Jalen flipping.

-Jojo Stone is team mates with Bo Hughley. the staff has done their due diligence with him and now getting him on campus maybe they can get him on campus.

-Bo is massive and not many look like him. Reminds Billy of Dare Rosenthal. He looks the part.

Dylan Carpenter: Regarding 81 inch wingspan. I don't think many of the younger generation will know what I am talking about but fans of 80's NBS will remember Kevin McHale, who had very long arms that seemed to hang down well below his knees. Wow, develop that kid and have him coming off the edge into the QB.

Captain Crown:

Oh they were long and he had some wicked low post moves. Go watch (youtube) some of those early 1980's Boston/Philly ECF series. 1981 and 1982 were full blown physical combat in the low post or those Celtic/Laker clips from the 80's.

1981 Boston/Philly was for me till I stopped watching the NBA when Jordan retired, the best NBA playoff basketball ever played (great, great, series).

81 NBA Finals. Celtics over Houston 4-2 after beating Philly in that 81 ECF 4-3.

That is Tiny Archibald (7), Cedric "Cornbread" Maxwell (31) and Gerald Henderson (wore 42). Maxwell and Henderson were on the 84 Celtics team that beat Magic, Kareen, Worthy, etc (Showtime Lakers) 4-3. Bird was dominant, 27 Points, 14 Rebounds and 4 Assist per game.

I was a philly/Dr J fan, so HATED the celtics. But yes, KM could absolute ball. And yes, his armpits are longer than my arms.

They're still running with the Jalen Brown flip story line?

He seems very solid to LSU.

And still "they" refuse to make him an admin on this board.

Imagine stickied recruiting threads that are actually updated and useful.
