big weekend in Baton Rouge.
If we land McKinley, Simmons, Durham, and Mack (all attending Bayou Splash) we could be looking at a top 5 class on signing day.

Ory is pretty much a lock and his announcement would currently bump us up to #10...knocking Tennessee out of the top 10.

Just hear me out.
I know when people first read that comment it sounds like total wishful thinking with your head in the clouds.
But maybe not.
McKinley is just quiet about his recruitment. I think that's just the way he is and wants to see out the process. But he's an LA kid and I do believe is trending towards staying home.
Mack - while I don't want him to commit out of "pressure", I do think the fact that he'd be the last piece of securing the top 10 in the state could play a factor in his mind.
After the other RB signing at OU, I think Durham is a lot more likely to be open to LSU. I was also reading some older articles about him last night and he said "LSU is like home. It feels like Duncanville to us." Which I think is a great sign - plus wanting to be a track athlete and we have one of the most prestigious programs in history.
Which takes us to Simmons. I had no idea that he has stated he really wants to go to LSU and his mom 100% wants him to. I guess the bag is literally the only thing that would sway him to UT? Either way, his heart is in the bayou and if we land Caden first, that might be just enough to do it.
Landing all these dudes AND Watkins & Ory...it is totally possible.

In terms of the players most likely to commit in the days following the big recruiting weekend, would it be fair to say those guys are Caden Durham, Ory Williams, and a recruit like Devin Smith or Josh Lair?
