The 6-foot-9½ senior-to-be has been busy attending camps, tournaments and showcases this summer, pushing his stock even higher. Martin is now rated the nation’s No. 13 prospect by Rivals.com. Louisiana’s top 2013 prospect has also taken stock of his recruiting status and has narrowed his list of colleges to eight finalists. The list includes LSU, along with national heavyweights like UCLA, Texas A&M and Louisville. Martin had more than 60 scholarship offers.
Does anyone know which shoe company sponsors his AAU team? Noticed in the article he was headed to an Adidas camp. Anyone worried that a shoe company could get involved?

Interested to see how the guard recruiting plays out. LSU probably wants a point guard and a Shooting guard. Harris is listed differently on different sites, so I don't know where he projects.

Not really. The shoe companies still need someone close to him to steer him. He's in BR, we should be able to negate any outside influence in that regard. Especially if his HS coach wants to continue to get talented players to his tiny school, like the Australian that was rumored to be going there.

JoJo has to get Martin. If he can pull a top 20 player in his first full year that would be huge. Ecspecially since hes an instate guy and TJ couldn't land any of the big instate recruits while he was here.

definition of a combo guard at least at the college level. has size to play the 2, really good handles. i've liked him for a while, wasn't till johnny came aboard that we got in the picture.

The Australian Exum looks like a total stud. 6'5" with exceptional leaping ability. Dribbles and handles ball great and would be a great finisher on the fast break. Best athlete I have seen film clips of.
However, his father played at North Carolina so we would probably be lucky to get him but oh man if we could. Throw him together with Damion Jones and our wings and shooting guards and we could really be something.

He's on a unofficial out there, i think he may have got overwhelm and committed, but only time will tell. that was fast though..lol

Hopefully we can be more competitive this year and show these kids that we're on the right track.
