Would need to fall in the draft, but would be an electric pickup at RB.
247SPORTS
5A highlights
I think he compares to a faster Trevor Etienne myself.
ETA: Ole Miss just offered.

If he’s a take by Lane, the NIL package could help persuade him to college and forgo the MLB Draft offer for a few years.
Just don’t want to see another elite baseball prospect fall behind by trying to play football like Mo Hampton did.

shite yes. Good speed and excellent vision. Hope he does join both teams

Hampton was an avg baseball player!

I just want a true burner on the baseball team.
We've had some speed recently with Crews, Kling, Curiel, Stanfield, and Brown, but it's been so long since we had a guy that can truly fly like a Jared Mitchell or Andrew Stevenson.

Like just compare Hampton's swing in college to Griffin's swing at like 12 years old. Griffin looked like 10x the natural baseball player Hampton did.
To be clear, I understand Hampton was the better *prospect* based on tools and projectability. I think Griffin is the more natural baseball player. Used the wrong words.

Maybe it was a off night for him but I wasn’t impressed at all by him when they came to Neville in their playoff game last year.. Neville had 6-8 kids who were easily better athletes than him

Neville had two D1 safety’s that set the edge and held him to negative yards rushing. His other games besides that, he was the best athlete on the field. Not sure he is an SEC RB but no doubt he can play D1 football.

Fraley, Laird, Stevenson was the blazing outfield.

That’s not saying much, Their defense wasn’t as strong as Neville’s

Eh, when is the last time had a really successful two sport athlete?
Posted on 6/5/26 at 11:01 pm to TigerAlum93
Not saying he is not a D1 athlete I just wasn’t impressed even when he did have space, vision wasn’t the best either, He should prioritize baseball

Lol that’s fair. I guess just generally not a fan of it at all school like LSU.

He'll play baseball eventually, but nice to hear he wants to come to college. Our lake charles buddies always said he wouldnt touch a university field

We say that about every Barbe recruit until they make it to campus.
