Audio - Shea Dixon thinks LSU got the better QB between Gunnel and Parrish

Parrish played much stiffer competition, better athlete. There were only 3 uncommitted 4-star QB's in the country and Parrish was the highest rated by 24/7.
The phones over at football ops and Ed Orgeron's phone is buzzing today. A lot of other kids are realizing there are only 7 spots left. I need to find out IF I can get in, I need to hold my spot. A lot changes when going from 12 to 17 commits. The numbers just crunched.
Last week Kardell was adamant that Noah Cain would be the next to commit. Shea has a prediction piece coming out today and has Cain in it.
Remember the name Dreshun Miller. Talked to people around the JUCO scene and they say he is probably the one of the 2 or 3 best JUCO players. Big schools wanted him but knew he wouldn't qualify.
thinks Devonta Lee and Trey Palmer will be the only two WR's LSU gets/takes. Both were supposed to be in Tuscaloosa but showed up at LSU. Both had their Moms with them.

not Ree, but IMO, when it comes down to two players and the staff chooses one over the other, I would rather the one the staff likes best. But it is also nice to see Shea Dixon thinks that Parrish is a better QB than Gunnel.

Agreed. And I haven’t seen video of either to compare, but it sure seems like the QB’s who can run have given Bama more problems than the more prototypical pocket passers.

The staff didn't stop pursuing Gunnel. He committed to Arizona State.
ETA: Or Arizona. He essentially committed to Sumlin.

Yea you right, I had forgot about that. But still like that someone like Shea Dixon also thinks Parrish is the better QB. Plus that dual threats, just as long as they can throw, are usually are harder to defense against in the college game.

Lol. Someone just has to make this comment in every thread. No one is upset that something positive has happened but I’ll gladly take straight info without all the bullshite spin. NONE of this matters when it comes to the reason why people are skeptical of O. It’s about winning games. How many games are on the schedule this month? IGNORE the people obsessed with stars! Quit wasting ur time and constantly keeping this narrative going. If the coaches get eyes on these kids in a competitive setting against other studs, their opinion is all that matters. There are a ton of athletes out there. Coaches are better evaluators than ANY recruiting site. I like this class and I like the roster management. Thumbs up in that dept for coach O. There is NOTHING to complain about right now. Season can’t get here fast enough. The only thing that will get everyone on the same page is winning games. Period
