True and I'm skeptical on Gibbs I have nephews that play in that same area...how much is skills and how much is a lack of talent he's facing? Everyone says he has speed for days but does he have speed for the SEC?? Looking at his 100meter time of 11.6 that says he doesn't. He's pulling away from kids in his videos but if we place him in Warren Eastern district...I can guarantee it wouldnt be as impressive. Hopefully I'm wrong but 11.6 shouldn't pull away from decent athletes, I have girls on my track team that'll run close to that time.

Not trying to be a debbie downer but LSU has almost 0 traction with any of the remaining major recruits that are available to sign. There's nobody that's a blue chip recruit that's showing lots of interest in LSU except Burch and Jackson? Nobody knows Burch's situation right now. I don't know why this board felt like Clayton or Van Pran would be guys we can get. Neither have showed a lot of interest in LSU. Van never wanted anything to do with us. That school doesn't seem to like LSU or these 2 guys just don't have much interest.

The elite DB Williams I know LSU wants him but again, another guy who hasn't shown much of any interest in us. Looking like LSU is going to have to go way down their board to fill the class up and maybe we can get someone like Burch or Jackson to be the cherry on top.

RB is a serious concern though because it's possible LSU has only 2 on the roster next year and neither of the remaining big ones have much interest in us. One is in our own backyard.

LSU had a full class of 25 ranked #2 a month ago. The 2 WRs de committing I give a pass but for the rest O fricked this up.

I wonder what happened to "recruits are blowing the coaches phones up trying to commit" talk? O thought with his high level recruiting and LSU winning, he could pull most any kid he wanted. Needless to say he got played and turned away a couple good Louisiana kids!

Good. I didn't want him to sign with LSU.

Not necessarily. Overblown? Maybe. But I am sure that plenty of guys were eager to talk to our staff. I just think that Bc of the lies we were told by a select few of our commits it resulted in us losing our opportunity at most of those outside players who had interest

2? So we'll lose a transfer even if we don't sign anyone? Doubt it.

Yes, there is. Because recruits leave schools at the altar just the same as coaches do it to kids. It’s a two-way street and he should know how the recruiting process goes. It’s never personal. And he’s taking it that way.

He actually seemed very mature and professional for his age/situation.

He acknowledged the situation and stated his feelings on it without insulting anyone.

If anyone is making it personal it seems to be LSU fans like you and others accusing this young man of being “butthurt” simply bc this late in the process he isn’t jumping at making LSU his #1 choice.
