The article in summary:
LSU can be better at recruiting, especially since 2 recruits said they connected better with Pelini than Aranda.

Heads up to anyone who hasn’t clicked yet - this is fansided (so not worth reading or clicking).

LSU has all the ingredients to be the most dominant recruiting force in college football. If that happens, then the rest of the SEC might as well give up.
Hopefully the author follows up with an article listing and comparing those "ingredients" to other SEC schools.

but for the most part, the recruiting services get it right.
Recruiting services are in general more or less accurate, but nonetheless, according to their recruiting rankings over the past four or so years, LSU wasn't supposed to be good enough to win a natty in 2019.
In any event, in my opinion, programs that consistently are in the top ten of their recruiting rankings, should have a pretty good chance of possibly winning a natty in any give year.
In fact, if the recruiting services were always 100 percent accurate, then Alabama and UGA would win nattys all of the time, but they don't which more or less proves that the recruiting services are not 100 percent accurate.
I'm also concerned that UGA, for instance, spends over $2 million dollars a year more on recruiting relative to what LSU spends.
Of course, coaching and chemistry also have a lot to do with success and I think LSU and Coach O are very good at creating an environment conducive to having good chemistry while also providing excellent coaching at the same time.

We are about to take off! Committed staff=committed kids! I could care a shite about a ranking unless it is bad.
Quality kids are the key. Marucci system is proven.

Here’s where LSU’s classes have ranked over the last 10 years (via 247Sports composite rankings).
2020 – 4
2019 – 5
2018 – 15
2017 – 7
2016 – 2
2015 – 5
2014 – 2
2013 – 6
2012 – 13
2011 – 8
2010 – 9
I'm of the opinion that you judge the class 3-4 years down the road not in the initial stages. I would like to see 247 do a write up about that for past LSU classes.
