why do you have to pick a game that he only got 9 touches? you might as well give me his whole stats this year
That's my whole point. That was the only game he got those kind of touches and he went off. Did you watch any games this year?
Washington - 1, 1 yard
Vandy - 3, 15 yards
ULL - 2, 14 yards
Moo state - 1, no gain
UGA - 1, 3 yards
Florida - 2, 13 yards
Auburn - 2, 8 yards
Tulane - 1, 4 yards
Bama - 1, 2 yards
La Tech - 0 carries
Ole Piss - 0 carries
Go to bed. You're done for the day.

Looks good, measurables are awesome. I like the Ed McCaffrey comparison.

I didn't know how that would go over, but that's who he reminds me of on that film.

Sorry but JJ was a 4 star QB with a year of playing experience and several starts.

To the idiot critics who say that Wright and Williams are slow, I guess you forgot about Michael Clayton and D. Bowe who were about 4.6 plus guys and pretty good receivers for us. Wright, from my view, is the best player in LA this year.

Your view sucks.
ETA: And I like Wright a lot. No way was he the #1 player in LA this year. I'm not sure he was top 10 honestly when you include juniors.

The kid's dream came true, that's for sure.
I'm impressed with his height and verticle - I hope his heart is in football...I have a feeling that, if it wasn't before, it is now (ideal opportunity).
Does anyone know about any prospects for the 2011 class that maybe on Slidell? I only ask, because we ALL know that we're falling back on this guy, and I'd like to think that there maybe an added benefit down the road. All things considered with the way it has gone with this class, AW looks to have the ideal upside that you look for in a fallback guy.

I noticed that. Before it was 10 pages, how it's 9.

Guess the admins are receiving my RA requests.

The longest standing broad jump in NFL combine history was 11 feet 5 inches. Emfinger said that he witnessed Williams do a standing broad jump of 139 imches
(that's 11 feet 5 inches for you negatigers). Sounds like a pretty good athlete and someone I would want on my team

I like Big receivers, especially when they are from La and leave Arkansas fans asking themselves "whyyyyyyyy"

If this kid if such a player, why didn't we target him initially?
We had Davis, Hunter, made a hard push for Reed. We were going to be all set at WR.
Of course, we lose all 3, and now pick up Williams. Seems like we're "settling" on him.
But again, if he's that good (and I'm not saying he isn't), why weren't we after him a year ago?

And so what if he was in a pure spread? He was still the best receiver in the nation, impressed NFL scouts, got picked extremely early, and is off to a solid start in the NFL. All of this from a 2*.

Just read from TOS that he was the #15 WR on our board.
No Davis, no Hunter, no Reed, no Fobbs.
Seems to me like we're "settling" for this kid.

Williams tied the NFL combine record for the standing broad jump (at 11 feet 5 inches). "It's a standardized test of power, basically," San Diego Chargers college scout Tom Gibbons said. "It's been done for years, so it gives us a starting point and something to compare the players to each other. Since we've done it for years, we can also compare these players to the players of the past as well." (NFL.com) How is this a bad pickup, sounds like he has alot of upside
