Arkansas Running Back Phenom that is coming to LSU in 09

I am sorry I cant remember his name but somebody put some video on him this Spring that was incredible. He plays at a private school and was at our camp this year. Can anybody from arkanasas tell us how he is doing this year? I know he is two years away but he looks like our next Charles Scott.

Not going to happen, as I think he's going to Arkansas. His name is Michael Dyer and Seastrurnk > Dyer imho.

While in Arkansas for the first hurricane I must had been near where he played . He was shown on the local news getting his bell rung, lost his helmet and had a bad game.

Michael Dyer as a great shot of starting right away when goes to Arkansas. That's probably why he's going there.

Originally said he wanted to play for LSU definitely.......he plays for a private school in LR, Shiloh Christian if this is the same guy. Film really isn't that impressive because the competition looks very Jr. High. I think somewhere along the line Petrino wanted him more than LSU.

This Dyer Video is better. To my amateur eye, he looks better than Lache. Seems more versatile and has more power. Lache's video is super impressive too and I really want him at LSU but almost every one of his caries was a toss sweep.
I love how you say the video is not impressive because the competition looks bad. The competition looks bad because they are not in the same stratosphere as Michael Dyer. If the competition looked good something would be wrong. This video is sick.

LSU won't need a power back with Ford and Pratt on board this year. They're going for the speed guy in Seastrunk.

It's not a question of how the competition looks in the video, it's a question of how good the competititon is.

No, he's not better than Seastrunk imho. The video you posted does look good, but go back and watch the defenses he's playing against... it looks like random middle schools in Louisiana.

Again, the video of Dyer is good but just go back and watch and look at some of the defenses he's doing this against. I agree with True Grit on this in regards to the highlight video. But I still think that Dyer will be good on the next level if he chooses to go to Arkansas.

Ummmm....ok....thanks I really didn't need that since this wasn't an attempt to pimp Evangel, just to compare competition. I have no affinity or hate for Evangel. Just comparing talent.

You read it wrong. I was saying it shows how shitty his comp is. They got the shite kicked out of them by a LA 2A team who then got the shite kicked out of them by 5A and 4A Texas teams. The 5A and 4A Texas teams-the ones who beat the shite out of the team that beat the shite out of Pryor-are the teams that Lache and Pratt see EVERY WEEK. I was helping your case, not hurting it.
