Louisiana Mr. Basketball is voted on by sportswriters and based solely on high school career and does not take into account recruiting, offers or college potential.

Mr. Football is the same way.

Gatorade Player of the Year is based more on recruiting and college potential.

Wagner was probably the best high school player this year. Will that translate to college? We shall see.

he is a good scrappy player who i can see fitting in the system similar to how i feel about qualls. could also see him transfering to a sun belt type school down the road.

Mr. Basketball is not a career achievement award but based solely on the performance of the senior season.

I'm from the CENLA area and every where Peabody is relevant in the state. It seems we could land atleast one kind from there at LSU

He is not slim, are you kidding? He looked quicker than Felix but size wise he looked way smaller. He also didn't guard Felix either, Peabody had a bigger guard on Felix.

He is probably quicker than Felix. There was a reason why he didnt guard Felix and I think it was a great move by their coach to not get their best player in foul trouble. That's why I said he better to get ready to play some D.

Yea, anything is possible, but Anderson thrives on these unknown kids. Qualls actually got into the final Rivals 150, surprisingly.

i am from central La area, and have seen him play. he is definitely not on the same level as some of the previous Peabody guards. nowhere near the kid who went to ok state

Markel wasn't a point guard either. Dee is a better PG right now than Markel is at Ok State cause he's out of position.

Ju is not longer that so that all name squad will take a hit.
