Spots are getting tight.
Get on now or get left out.

Yep. That's what I'm thinking. His buddies are going to sign and he knows it would be bad to drag things out. That being said he's pretty impressive on film and I would imagine would be a 4* if he was a little taller. He's fearless for his size though.

And I believe that's how LSU will approach it now especially when LA has a down year like this one. The next 2 years LSU can afford to wait but fill needs early and possibly even get big time recruits on board early with this new signing period. I think it can be an advantage for LSU, with its instate talent for sure.

Amik was not SEC material. Washington is a better. DB.

This early signing period will make it easier to cut loose marginal commits if they don’t sign now. “Well, we gave you the chance and now can’t be sure u are 100 percent committed”

Not talking about this kid in particular. Just a general statement.

Disagree. He had a good year at Tech. He keeps it up and doesn't get injured, I bet he'll be drafted (obviously in a couple years).

a guy with pretty good info on a pay site said last night that washington and moore were being told they were out today.

Id let this day play out before thinking Dellenger is even 25% correct

Since it was last night, maybe things changes today. I'm assuming there were some conversations today and Washington assured the staff he was in and not taking the TCU visit. Staff likely gave a "go and you're out" ultimatum and Washington decided to stick. Have to do it with the early signing period and limited spots

I liked Amik a lot, but I don't see any similarities between our handing of his recruitment and how we've handled Washington. We didn't even offer Amik until January.
