not that they would jump to be at LSU but they seem to have talent as they just beat USC. Must be some with Louisiana connections worth looking into, isnt it?

They have several quality guys, but I don't know that they have anybody at positions where we need starters.

I like their RB but I'm not sure he's anything better than what we already have.

You are joking right?

Spears is better than anyone LSU has at RB and will get drafted. Possibly relatively high (1st 4 rounds)

#0 DL JENKINS if available. I think he was on LSU's team at one point.

Crazy that they lost a starting lineman to Oklahoma last year to the portal.

He committed to us.

O dumped him and he went to TCU.

I don't know that he's better than what we have. Nice player for AAC though.

Yeah, that's why I'm talking about. I don't know if he translates to SEC level. Looked good to me. Didn't know he already declared and haven't looked at his NFL stock. But yeah, if he stayed I would've looked at him obviously.

How does Tulane end up with a better back than LSU? This should be near impossible. Yet here we are.

They also took ashaad Clayton from Colorado who prepped at Easton. He backed up spears all year.

He will have possibly higher stock in the NFL than College. Perfect pass catching back.

Orgeron

Also, see Marshall Faulk. Sometimes coaches just miss on player evaluations or what position they should play.

How does a 2 -star former walk on end up as our most reliable back over a 5-star and a few 4s? The same reason. Guys have to develop and some don’t beyond HS. Or they can’t handle the mental side of the college game. In the case of Goodwyn and Cain, it’s injuries that got them off track from being their best.

Some lower-rated guys have missed evals or still have room to grow and develop after they get on campus. It happens all the time.
