There is no limit in a week. The limit for a day is 115. The amount of pitches you throw in a day determines how many days rest you must have.

As stated above 115 is max but pitcher is allowed to finish a batter if max is reached during that time.

1-34 pitches - 0 day rest
35-59 pitches - 1 day rest
60-84 pitches - 2 day rest
85-115 - 3 day rest

Nolan Ryan's average pitch count varied throughout his career. While official pitch counts began in 1988, in 1989, at age 42, he averaged 127 pitches per game, with a high of 164. In some games, particularly in his earlier years, his pitch counts were significantly higher, with reports suggesting he threw over 200 pitches in a single game.

I was told he has been cleared to bat and that it is definitely not a UCL injury. Coach is not pushing Louque and he is on his own timetable to return. It is believed the injury may have more to do with his golf swing.

Any updates. Noticed he didn't play in second round of playoffs.

Game 6 vs. Vanderbilt Catholic - 48 pitches (March 20th

I was at this game as my son plays for Vanderbilt and he walked off of the mound in the 3rd inning in frustration holding his arm. He got knocked aroung that inning but you could something wasn't right. The kid has a great arm but is certainly very raw. He will need lots of work to make it on the mound in BR but it is doable. Prayers for this kid to recover and have a successful college career.
