No 23 on Catholic punt team saved state championship with shoe string tackle on block punt return.

For those who watched the game, did he look like a future 5 star qb? I wasn’t able to watch the game but from the twitter clips only…hmmm

You know those plays that are RPO‘s and you see the quarterback and he starts acting like he’s about to takeoff and run up the middle and then throw the ball. He didn’t do that well tonight, but you could see in his game that could be something that he could really do and if you think about it, he’s just a baby if he’s 2027..

Seemed pretty big size wise for a person his age as well, not long and lanky if that makes sense

Yes, he will be a 5 star easily.
He's only a soph. but has touch and can throw the deep ball.
His running is a little slow and labored. That is the only weakness I see.

Everything about home from his play to his mannerisms is JD5 reborn. This kid will be a beast. Only lost to a more talented team. Hopefully he stays a tiger for life.

#2 is Hiram Eugene’s son. Played FS for the Raiders for a little while. He’s a player for sure. Only a sophomore

Yea he’s definitely no Jayden Daniels when comes to running.

yeah, i assumed he would be like D Watson (high school/clemson version) or JDaniels running. not at all. i was surprised at how slow he looked. i have no idea the talent differential. but he didn’t blow me away watching him last night.

Karon Eugene 2027 DB
Led the team with eight interceptions
His dad is from Jeanerette: Hiram Eugene, who played in the NFL.

Homeboy gone to the Aggies. How much will they pay him while he is still in high school?
Posted on 12/14/24 at 7:06 am to Shanks A Lot
No - he isn’t very fast and isn’t a great runner. He’s not a dual threat like LSU fans want. The competition he plays isn’t great either. He’s not the savior LSU is looking for.

He looks awesome physically for a high school sophomore but I think the Houston kid from Evangel looks like a much more polished and college ready QB, at least at this point.

Always hesitant about kids from smaller schools who play limited competition. He looks the part but hard to tell against what he’s playing.

He isn’t very fast or a great runner - he might be a great QB throwing the ball, but he won’t be Jayden Daniels running ball.
