Any update on the north Louisiana DL currently committed to A&M?

I think Shea said he visited twice in as many weeks. He received an offer from us late… said it was his “dream offer”.
Billy doesn’t think we have a great chance at flipping him, but Shea seemed optimistic (watch what they do, not what they say). I think Ahmad Breaux gave him a shoutout and has been trying to recruit him.
We need him badly, especially if we’re not getting McKinley.

Unless something changes like his position coach leaving A&M, I don't see him flipping. It would have already happened after we offered him much like Cryer flipping immediately from OM.

If he makes another visit in October and November, I'll have some cautious optimism. Until then it's hard to see him at lsu

The McKinley ship has sailed.
Think he and his family just really wanted him to get OOS and so I don't think it was anything we did wrong on our end.
But I don't think a flip is even in play.

It's such a wild thing to me that any typical Louisiana kid would go to A&M. It just doesn't compute culturally at all. UT makes sense for a kid that wants to get out of state, but not A&M for having as much success as they are.

To the OP. I would suggest you give up the ghost on the A&M Louisiana Commits. It time to move along.

I just happened to run across that on twitter and thought perfect timing. Things could play out if Coach Lindsey comes back but A&M to me has the best closer for DL Coach in the business.
