Yea,hes not a linebacker but that's where A&M plans to play him.

What else you want to know about Harris?

Did we go after him hard? What’s his deal?

I think he will be a very good LB/S type who can come in on 3rd and long to play pass. He's a INT machine. He's very athletic so he could also play Hback or TE. I wouldn't totally give up on him just yet. I wouldn't waste too much time on him either. He's an intriguing prospect to say the least. I think Aranda could get a hold of him and make him a killer LB.

Aranda likes McCallum more.

All that matters. His choices at LB have been pretty damn spot on so far.

My question, who, projected un the class, is that OLB, pass rusher? Dont see that edge guy or any real possibilities at the moment. We are young outside but need at least 1 per class. Of course the wild season of january will bring kids to light but just curious if the thiught process. Thanks

No, we offered on offense (TE/H-back type), he wasn't interested. Alabama offered him for the same spot too.

A&M is the only 1 of the 3 that believes he's a LB prospect. He's never played linebacker, he plays WR/CB in high school.

We took Starks and McCallum for ILB as aranda likes them both better there. Starks is really good and McCallum is a big time thumper and very productive himself. There's a lot of questions around if Harris can even play ILB at the next level, big time transition from WR/CB.

They are going all out for Nakobe Dean to get 3 ILB in the class if possible, but they wont push for any other ILB.

Dean is in a bidding war with Georgia and Alabama. Warren would like him at Miss State but the chips are probably too high.
I like where LSU is with inside LB'ers with McCollum and Starks. What we need is an OLB to slot behind hopefully a healthy Chaisson and to push Anthony who has not provided a bit of a pass rush since he took over.

He's pretty stiff.

I'm not just saying that, go watch his film.
