I think 24/7 did their own independent rankings which you just linked but I think the actual elite 11 rankings had him in top 11....Not a 100 tho

I’ll take as many great QBs as want to come here. We’re finally in a good place depth wise where we’re not counting on freshman or sophomores with little to no experience or even time in college.

With the offense we run now helping QBs put up better numbers, I don’t expect all these guys to start more than 2 years. Imagine a Brennan leading us to the playoffs , he could make the jump to the draft.

Gotta keep the stockpiles full.

247 hates LSU they dropped Nuss like 20 spots for no reason. He is a baller and shows out in the highest level of high school football.

I could care less about the politics that go on inside of college football and there’s plenty of it. Actually it’s starting to ruin the game for me in a big way.

With that said I’d like to know how many people in 1 vs 1 talks with some real football minds would actually say about our current QB Brennen, his back up Johnson / Finley and our current commits Nussmeier / Howard? I’d bet behind closed doors you’d hear that LSU’s current QB situation would make any NFL coach jealous AF.

As for as quality and depth is concerned, I truly believe that there isn’t another school in America with more talent at the QB position as a whole then what LSU now has, if it were to remain as it is now.

There’s no reason to believe that it won’t stay this way and possibly get better. I also believe Max Johnson is going to be a stud QB. He’s got the size, he’s been coached all his life, his DNA is that tough mentality, he’s got mobility, strong arm and is accurate. But at anytime something can go wrong. Something unplanned can happen to throw everything off so it’s always great to have more talent behind them.

It’s just so amazing to see how far LSU has come with QB talent. All these guys have great HS talent which looks like it will translate into college and possibly pros for most of them. Just crazy!!! But I love it. Go Tigahs!

There is no better QB prospect in that class then Nussmeier. Williams can run a lot better, but Nuss has elite scrambling ability, excellent downfield vision, and throws beautifully.

Nuss is in a bad spot from a depth chart standpoint. Max will likely be the starter after Brennan and better prospects Walker Howard, and potentially Arch Manning are coming right behind him.

Burrow was in a bad spot too. He had the Brennan ahead of him, and Brennan set all the Mississippi HS records. Poor Burrow. Surprised he even competed. When the man shows up it doesn't matter who else is there. If I remember correctly Peyton Manning wasn't the top rated QB in his freshman class at Tennessee.
