"Dream Team"

Initially, I was worried about how a loaded roster of stars might effectively share the ball w/o massively bruised egos. But I started thinking about the Olympic Dream Team (MJ, Bird, Magic, Barkley, Ewing, Malone, Pippen, Stockton, etc.) and they resolved that by simply outscoring foreign pro's by a margin of 50+ ppg, and everyone having their moments.

Much like LSU recently scored 125 to Bellarmine's 50, this possible LSU superteam might've doubled the already-impressive 17pt margin they put on Iowa (102-85).

It's not hard to imagine LSU's suerteam stats with two 20+ ppg scorers, one 18 ppg, one 12 ppg and another with 10 ppg. and a bench contributing to an overall team scoring avg of 100+ ppg...even in SEC play.

it'll be a WNBA team, essentially. Of course it'll work. They will all eat because they will take defensive pressure off of each other.

Add on top of that, out-rebounding fools.

This past season, the ladies avg'd 46 rpg to opponents 31 for a 15 rpg margin. That could realistically become a 25 rpg margin or 55/25.

FIFY

It would pretty much pencil in UConn and LSU in the final.

LSU vs. SC during the season would be big from a story standpoint, but it really shouldn't be much of a game. (If they play) LSU would be a big favorite, jump on it as soon as the line comes out. This is assuming Morrow to the Tigers, which I'm not sold on happening yet.

That's what SCar thought this year, hell that's what Mulkey thought too. Injuries happen, bad matchups happen, and sometimes it ain't your day. Pencil no one in.

Totally agree. For us to win this year we had to have it go our way. No injuries and the bracket falling just right. It’s not like the UConn Tenn days. Too many good teams now.

NIL is a divisive subject among sports fans, but one thing they can all agree on is that NIL has changed NCAA WBB for the better by being a main factor in keeping it's many stars much longer than other college sports can keep their stars from turning pro prematurely.

That's what the pencil is for. You can always erase it. There are pitfalls for every team every year. I just meant that as far as media, that's the way thos season will be portrayed. It's gonna be LSU/UConn and can anybody stop them from getting to the end.

We'll have a better idea next November. The Cayman Classic is going to feature UConn, LSU, VTech, and UCLA. UConn, if they stay healthy, is loaded. Early in the season, LSU will still be sorting things out. If we take that tourney, it will be a real tell.

Everyone will be sorting things out. I don't see that being an issue for LSU. And UConn might be loaded, but I don't see where they have as much as LSU at the moment. If Morrow comes here, I think LSU would clearly have a decided advantage.

FWIW, I saw that LSU pulled even with UConn in Vegas odds as the preseason favorite to win it after the HVL commitment.

One thing I noticed she posted way more pics with LSU compared to USC. I guessing that's a positive still 1 more visit left Im putting us as the leader as of today. She just posted more pics on IG and twitter in LSU gear.

I'd say its a toss up between us and SC. She makes sure she puts #notcommitted.

I'm glad we got HVL and she didn't want to visit anywhere else, she wanted to be a tiger!

"Turning pro prematurely": Read that S.Cal's stud, Boston, signed with her pro team for only $75K. But she had run out of eligibility & had to sign .But $75K is nothing.

One thing I noticed was that in her pics of the USC visit she posted to Twitter, she put #notcommitted. But I didn’t see that in the LSU tweets.

She put not committed on her photos this morning

But she has been milking the attention since she entered the portal. You will see the exact same type of pictures next week at SC with the #notcommitted

We will just have to wait and see
