Alright recruiting Gurus I have a Question..

Why if we are asking 4 star guys to look elsewhere can’t we get the guys we are replacing them with to commit? Are they just silent commits essentially taking visits and talking up LSU or what else?

We're under a month to signing day. Some will pop before then, but some also have little signing ceremonies and stuff they want to announce at.

Some folks are just ignorant, faint of heart or worry warts. The first can change through education and experience. The next two are traits that don't work well with recruiting. Some folks may need to find another hobby:).

Because some of these kids are currently committed to other schools and the coaches don’t want to give them an opportunity for damage control.

You don’t want to make it obvious that is what happened. You help the kids you released by making it look like they did it on their own.

Jesus, this dude has us 11-0 with the best offense we have ever come close to seeing, the best recruiting class we have ever had, and a strong favorite to be playing for all the fricking marbles yet some of these crybabies are more worried about a "possible" recruiting mess up? That makes sense too . Speaking of that who are some recruits off the Top of your head who screwed us last minute basically the other way around . Committed to us and last minute went somewhere else and we had to hurry and fill the void?
