I have a feeling Chestnut will be fine next year. He was playing in a bad system for a bad coach with bad players around him

There is no way our fanbase while dumb is dumb enough to believe the statement “ if it ain’t SEC it ain’t good enough”. In the last 5 years we might have had the 2 greatest players in program history come through and both transferred in from other conferences.

quote:An LB is different from a DB. Don't forget the DB we got from Oklahoma St. Yall don't have rationale when it comes to things like this. One guy doesn't work out and you lose yourselves. I can count on one finger how many LBs we got to transfer here that worked out. I can count many DBs we've gotten that have worked out (Garner, Foucha, Converse, Brooks, Alexander).
Yep and Speights led the PAC 12(rip) in tackles, was ALL PAC 12 - the SEC is a different animal, don’t rock the DB boat.
If you could Downs(Ohio St) is Super
You have to get a Dawg, Duece All ACC, SEC couldn’t hang. You have to get players, they’re at 88. They know what they got to do Trust Them, spring portal is when the shake up will come-
I've figured out House. He needs already good and experienced players to make his defense work. However, if you are just thrown in with a bunch of guys that don't know what they are doing, you will look bad too. I've said many times that there is no way in HELL, every player on your side of the ball is bad. That is one billion percent on coaching. House is clearly an NFL guy.
I would have taken the Kansas DB if he had entered, I would take this guy too. He's 6'3 with 15 PBUs? He is and instant starter. We need this guy ASAP. 6'3 Alexander and 6'3 Davis.
However I have seen he had a DO NOT CONTACT on him when he first entered.

Very few things are more misunderstood by the Rant. Danielle Hunter was well used by LSU, and he played great here. The Rant doesn’t like it because the Rant only knows one thing…SACKS! But the LSU coaches cared more about wins than stats. They played a contain defense and pursued side to side. They dominated all different kinds of offenses - the only defense in America to do that. But the Rant is unhappy because Hunter could have had more sacks…and losses.
I disagree and so did his position coach in Minnesota. He was still very raw when he got to the league. In 38 games at LSU he had 4.5 sacks. He goes to the league and learned to play with technique and had the fourth most sacks in nfl history by age 24. He got by on raw talent at LSU. Brick Haley was not a great position coach. You can frame it however you want. He was not used properly in college.

This applies to almost everything to do with every sport.

Jayden Daniels came from the Pac 12. Did you not want him?

Elaborate and enlighten us then. Would love to hear you justify and spin Brick and Chavis’ use of him

Baker's missou defense was 9th in sack rate. Now he does give up some big plays.
That was basically the every down approach by House this year. The big play part. Give me aggression. We miss a sack, miss an INT, and give up a big play, it happens the season isn’t over. A whole season of watching opposing QB’s floss their teeth and do a couple of yoga poses before slowly getting to finding a wide open receiver for 15 yards was maddening.

Didn’t those people( lsu staff member) say stop trying to take everyone that enters the portal and develop the players you have?
