From what I've read, speculation is Lorando Johnson, CamRon Jackson and Eric Taylor.

Lorando and CamRon are potential grade risks. IDK why Taylor is getting mentioned, that dude is gunna be a stud.

Arik can play receiver, even at his size (and probably any other position he wants)

I gotcha. I didn't know they were grade risks. We need guys at those positions too though

Not sure if Taylor will still come, but if he does, think Aaron Hernandez and Gronk.... (before Hernandez killed someone)

It was a VICIOUS Tandem for New England!!!!

let's pump the brakes here. Every year we get good 3 Star TE's and a bunch haven't panned out. Arik is a damn lock to be great. jury is still out on Taylor

Arik has said he wants to be a WR.. I'd still rather him at the TE/WR flex role that is new because of all the great WR's we have and have coming in. Embarrassment of riches at the offensive skill positions. Just hope the guy getting them the ball is good to great.

Yet all of us fawn, bitch and moan over an industry responsible for ranking these kids that do the exact same thing. Its not an exact science. Scouts/professionals are wrong quite a bit at every level when it comes ti evaluations.

May be why Taylor is taking visits to Kentucky and such. I like Taylor myself but id guess it has to do with numbers at each poistion. Between the kids committed as DEs and the edges that may spin down (Bryant for sure is possible) we have quite a few numbers in the class there.

Glad to see you’ve come to your senses

I was really stuck on Taylor and hadn't watched much of Gilbert at the time. I still like Taylor, but Gilbert is just an athletic "FREAK' of nature.

Again, you aren’t evaluating. We all played football and we can all see how good of an athlete he is. All you are doing is watching a highlight film of his very best plays and giving your opinion.

Gilbert is the highest rated TE ever graded by 247. Kid has the athleticism of a guy half his size and catches almost everything thrown in his direction. He’ll be the best TE on the team the second he shows up in BR

You're basically just saying something that all reasonably intelligent people already knew.

Which is a whole lot more than you are saying because you ain't saying shite. I suppose you don't have enough understanding to really add anything of value to the topic. I understand though, but not everybody knows what they are looking at when they watch a player's video. Some of us have spent years (50 years actually, started playing when I was 5, not organized, but played with guys 4 and 5 years older) playing the game, watching the game, coaching players, evaluating players to determine which ones are the starters and which ones will be back-ups. And not everyone has that experience with the game. Not your fault, you just didn't care to get hit, or you were too small, or too scared, or didn't like the game, it's okay. But making a futile attempt to belittle something someone else has to say shows it's not about the game or the players, you just want the attention. Childish, but here you go, I just gave you some attention.

AND he’s being held on most of them.

His stop and cut in the opposite direction, while being held, is very impressive. Guys that big just are not suppose to be able to stop and change directions that quick.

Your Tigers eyes need an evaluation

And you really need to get a girl friend. Quit watching porn in your room all alone and get out and socialize. Find a GF, she'll probably be on the not-so-attractive side, but at least you'll have some kind of life outside your own misery.

Whew now I can rest comfortably knowing this...

If you have nothing to add to the topic, why comment at all. Oh, wait, you just want some attention. Ok, here you go, some attention. Quit living life in your room. Get out, stop feeling so insecure and find something in life that will raise your self esteem. Try learning to play an instrument. Guitar is fairly popular with your generation. And it's an easy instrument to play for a beginner. And if you like it then it takes a whole lot of work to be really good at it. But it will help with your esteem. Just saying. Then maybe you have such issues as not being able to sleep until you hear an evaluation of a recruit. Get a life.

I am probably one of the few who hope that both Gilbert and Taylor are part of the class.

Well, me too. I mean, you don't find many 6'7" football players that can move and run like Taylor. You put the ball 11 feet in the air and not many DB's can go up and get it with him.

Nobody here watches what recruits do when the ball isn’t thrown/run in their direction. We watch highlights.

Except when a HS game is televised or we go see the game in person. And there are some games on youtube. So you can watch these players play in games.

Yea, and so do coaches when they evaluate which players will start and which will not. How many time have you heard of a QB getting hurt and the back-up comes in and does 10 times better? Like you said, it isn't an exact science. And there is no way to evaluate heart, you know, except to see how a player responds to adversity. It's just not a measurable.

based off highlights, I would take Kole. Though, obviously highlights don't tell the whole story.
