here is a thought.
How about changing the la. h.s. academic requirements to match the academic requirements to play sports in college.
Why not make a rule that requires h.s. athletes to keep a 2.5 g.p.a. to play h.s. sports. You can't really make them have a a.c.t. score. However, you can make sure they have their core. It will help the schools, colleges, and most of all, the athlete.
If they aren't college material, at least they are on track educationally. i can't see a down side to it.

I know it is hard to believe, but I'm not taking a shot at you or Eunice here. He wants us to sign Tyler Collins from Eunice.
