Matthews will more than likely play linebacker.

If they signed him and move him to LB, he'll be in the portal the next day.

I seem to remember not long ago A&M having a stable of QB’s and lost everyone of them in one season because they couldn’t keep them happy. Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out and how these pay to play deals pay out if you ride the pine.

Jimbo couldn't keep one Jameis from dressing out in full pads thinking he could sneak into the game while suspended for yelling frick her in the pussy after raping someone. Gonna be tough to control 50 mercenaries with your sideburns shaved 3 inches above your ears.

Better try more like $1.5 million for 3 years. starts once player reports to campus, will get first $500,000, then annually after that! Of course if they leave, they do not get it. I can't wait for these A & M recruits to start flaunting their money around!

That is essentially what has happened, compare DBU to aTm defensive backs for the last 10-15 years......no comparison, LSU whoops them every time.

I agree. That money will have many of them comfortable and not willing to work any harder to obtain the ultimate goal. You can't chase the small money now and miss out on the millions later. You see it all the time in college and pro. They will get the big dollars and then come complacent with whatever they have now. Thats why many first rounders don't pan out because they lose site of being hungry and working hard.I wouldn't care who can offer me what now. I'm looking at 3-4 years from now. Who can help me develop and help me achieve my ultimate goal while keeping me hungry and humble while reaching my ultimate goal.

That ain’t what I’m saying I’m saying that’s why he went there,he obviously thinks he is better than half of what they have in his mind I’m sure.He knows now with the portal if he is wrong he stays there for 1-2 years makes money while he figures out if he can be a starter and if not he can leave an never sit out.The portal being open an free to these kids means they don’t have to get it right the first time unfortunately
And it's another bag after that year or two.

So are you saying he is fine riding the pine at aTm for 4 years while collecting $120K/yr and blowing any chance he has of making 10s of millions of dollars a year for his entire NFL career. If that is the case he isn't very smart.
